The Highlander Freehouse Pub — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

One of the last breed of traditional pubs. Many different types of people but not cliquey or gossipy. Friendly clientele that are accepting and take as they find. Reasonably priced drinks. Fast efficient bar service. No food menu except for usual type bar snacks. Sports bar showing majority of football matches and some other sports but some of the TV's need updating. A decent pint of beer. The place is large and clean, the landlady friendly, and there's a panoramic view of the Kent downs from the veranda. They're missing a stroke by not offering food, though - which probably explains why the place was deserted at lunchtime.
