Good selection of brownie and tray bake type cakes. I didn't eat this time, so haven't rated the food, just stopped by for a cold drink on a 10k run round the creek. Nearest toilets that aren't in a pub! Great location for a rest outside overlooking the water. There are also inside conservatories and the nearest to the counter has air con for days when it's just too hot.

What a great little cafe ,tucked away along the side of the river next to a boat yard.A perfect way to start or end a days birding or walking around oare marsh nature resrve.Tables outside for sunny days and a conservatory and space on the inside for those bitterly cold winters days on the north Kent coast. Also does ice creams!.

I stopped off at this waterside cafe for tea and a slice of carrot cake, while walking the Saxon Shore Way. Both were delicious, the tea piping hot and strong. The staff were friendly and offered fast and efficient service. I can recommend a visit

2nd visit and last for food. First time was a bacon and scrambled egg sandwich. Bacon thick and rubbery, the Scrambled egg bit blew my mind. What happened to a fried egg and bacon sandwich. Sent it back and got a refund. 2nd visit, £7.45 fry up. Well, Bacon thick and rubbery with white on top where it had been microwaved, sausage anemic where it had been microwaved, tinned mushrooms, stodgy and sweaty where they had been microwaved. Beans in a ramekin, microwaved. Luke warm hash brown. Stale hard and very bitter bit of sourdough toast. Absolutley nothing on my plate had seen a Cooker or grill. I ate it because I was starving. Never again. If the owner reads this and wants to sell up let me know because that place could be a goldmine if done right. Stick to toasties if...

22/8/23. Lovely sitting by the creek. Today was interesting watching a shoal of small fish darting about in the water. The coffee and cake were nice too. Double Decker chocolate brownie. Yummy. Parking is very convenient, but you need to be careful walking, it's loose pebles. 18/02/24. Sausage sandwiches and coffee today. Rather large baps. Very nice. 27/7/24. Cheese and onion sandwich, and a bacon cheese and chicken toasties. Very nice. Some chocolate cake of some sort , rather like rocky road, very nice, but for the size of any of their cakes, they're about £1 over priced. Nice sitting in the sun, watching the...

I regularly have lunch here with my children. The panini’s are delicious; my favourite is the mushroom and goats cheese. Served with a side salad. Great selection of options, friendly staff and a picturesque setting. You can sit outside and watch the marsh tide. It’s perhaps a little more expensive than some other local cafes; my light lunch was £7.50. If you want a coffee, cake and a place to sit and read in peace- this is my go to. Highly...
