Value for money - to a degree yes. The food is locally sourced and not your usual pub food so the price we paid was the price we expected for such quality Service - was excellent. From the minute we walked in we was welcomed. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Food was prepared in a timely fashion also. Quality of food - Excellent. Food was served in such wonderful presentation. The flavours were exquisite, and would have ordered more if it weren't for me being full up too soon. Atmosphere - lovely cosy little pub with a very welcoming atmosphere. I didn't feel out of place stepping in and nor did I feel overwhelmed. There was noise of people having their conversations but none too loud or disruptive. Everything just at the perfect balance of you feeling like you can have a chat and laugh without disrupting anyone else, and vice versa. Overall experience - I can not complain at all. The bill didn't give me a heart attack which is always nice. I enjoyed the social aspect of having a nice little lunch for the two of us and getting delicious high quality food. This place certainly is a gem.

This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The interior has historic exposed beams, an open fire, heavy wooden tables and very tasteful decor. The cocktails are outstanding! Truly excellent mixology. The food is good - but not as good as expected. The burger was overdone, the sole was slightly undercooked, the oysters were small and had a milky deposit on one I’ve never seen in an oyster before. We were brought the three fish dishes with regular sides instead of the Sunday roast sides as was offered and requested. Our food was also served at different times due to the dietary requirements of one. I think this place is amazing though and want to come back to retry the food as the sprays were excellent. The rooms of the restaurant are divided up in a way that they feel intimate despite having plenty of spaces. The bathrooms are very ‘pub’ style - they don’t do the restaurant justice in terms of space, fittings, comfort, capacity or class. I’ll be back.

Firstly disclaimer I ended up not staying here, eating or drinking here in the end.

Drove past the place and looked very nice so decided to go in. Noticed the car park was quite full but thought nothing of it. Actual space inside the pub is minimal. Tiny seating area for food and tiny seating area for drinking. Outside space is more but as its cold and raining decided not.

I walk through the door to see it busy but looked around for a seat which there wasn't. I think actual drinking tables there's 4 maybe 5. Walked to the 'restaurant' area which is not segmented off as a designated restaurant area but just in a different zone as such. The bar lady instantly said that's the restaurant only before I had even mentioned a single word about anything. She wasn't to know if I was drinking or eating or what. Another girl I then asked for the menu who seemed startled at me asking her for this simple request. Then looked at the menu to find the options are pretty poor and not up to much. I guess it keeps with freshness but as I said I didn't eat so couldn't comment. Looking at the prices for what's on offer seemed a bit much. Bordering on London prices for the likes of cheeseburger at 14£ and fish at £16.

Decided after these two events and the fact there were actually about 6 members of staff behind the bar and only what seemed to be the manager said I'll be with you shortly and then wasn't and did some other random things, I decided I wouldn't stay (not that i actually could unless I sat on someone's lap or stood)

Really not the best experience of a place. Maybe when it's summer it's better but a random Saturday driving past, bad weather and the reception I got, I wouldn't be coming here again.

I can't give 0 stars and can't give 5 so 2 in my opinion is in the middle. Plenty reviews say it's nice but for me I can only comment on what I found. Shame but it...

We went for dinner on Sunday, 6 of us, with 2 little girls under 4, who are very energetic and playful. The pub was very hospitable and friendly, positive and helpful. We had the most sensational roast dinners and desserts. The service was wonderful, young Lexi (hope I spelt that right) was just so attentive and cheerful. Clearly loves her job. The Land lady Nadine is super, and clearly the landlord Kyle is a great chef, as we thoroughly enjoyed our Roast dinner, from the tasty beef and trio of meats, aswell as the quality cheese on the cauliflower cheese and the homemade sausage meat stuffing and Yorkshire puddings are to die for. Gravy for me makes or breaks a meal and the gravy is super tasty and thick too, so nothing to fault. We loved the special touch, of complimentary, salt roasted, cauliflower stalks, sounds weird, but like crispy sea weed at the Chinese, this was a super mini starter prior to our meal! We toped our meal outside in the garden after more drinks with brownies and ice cream, very enjoyable experience we certainly look forward to going again. Oh and one last very Important mention, is the pubs owners fur baby, Marvin... What a gorgeous bundle of playful fluff he is. Very attractive public house, with lots of options and attractive areas to dine, drink and mingle with friends and family. I...

First time at the Three Mariners, Kyle & Nadine were lovely and welcoming even though we brought 3 scruffy dogs and 2 loud children. We sat in the garden in the sun while the kids played. At 6pm the kitchen opened so we ordered food. Bar snacks were available beforehand (loaded fried etc) but we'd just had a picnic on the beach so we didn't sample those. We ordered wings to share as a starter, they were delicious - I asked if they could do me a whole chicken with the same seasoning 😆 that wasn't on the menu obviously. The wings were large and meaty, not as you would expect- complimented by a devine kimchi dressing. Nadine served the children's meal with the starter so that kept them happy. She also provided crayons and pictures to colour in. Our mains arrived soon after, I had the buttered cod. The portion was much larger than I had imagined, I was absoloutely stuffed but I had to finish it all. Lovely fresh ingredients presented beautifully, much more than pub grub. Our drinks were kept flowing throughout our meal, there was a lovely atmosphere, good music, a mix of walkers, regulars and families wanting to enjoy a nice dinner. Thanks Kyle & Nadine. We'll be back again soon. It was the perfect end to our...
