Golden Wok — Restaurant in Borough of Wyre

I only live 2 minutes away and decided to try local with Golden Wok. Never again! Young man behind the counter, although pleasant, was quite happy to overcharcharge me until I pointed it out to him and got some money back. Got my food home and it was a sparse portion to say the least plus half of the meal was missing. I was too tired and hungry to go back so I took photos of my change and what they had given me food wise. Called in today to advise them and told no refund. I am elderly and disabled and was treated rudely to say the least. If you order from here, check it and your bill before you leave. Food wasn't good anyway so I will order elsewhere. Place looks tired...

What can I say.. FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, one of the best Chinese in the area, tried it for the first time and it got me, I would recommend Crispy Shredded Chicken and Salt and Chilli Chicken, it was beautiful the sauce and the taste was just right!! Ordered quite a lot but didnt expect it to be rather cheap for the 4 of us only costed 36 pounds and we were all hungry people, the staff was nice and friendly when they introduced and explained some of the dishes, the place is tidy and clean love the green plants in the shop! WILL DEFINITELY go back...

We went here tonight ,for a carry out .

The food was ready very quickly, staff were friendly and the premises were clean ,with a 5 star food hygiene certificate.

It's only a few minutes away in the car, easy to find with accessible parking outside.

The pricing is competitive and they give free prawn crackers, which is always a bonus.

Portions are large and food was excellent 👌.

I had the shredded Peking chicken 🐔 and ate the lot .

Beautiful food...
