Marine Chippy — Restaurant in Boston

I received their leaflet by post and as many people around might know, finding a good kebab in Boston is a challenge, so since it's a new place I never tried before, I decided to give them a go. We ordered mixed kebab and a large haddock with chips. Nicely seasoned, delicious kebab with your salad on a side, REALLY good portion of meat and generous amounts of sauces. Chips could have been a bit warmer, but the portion of haddock made up for it. Honestly, way more fish than I could eat (but I still did 🤣). Delivery driver friendly, polite and professional, handed the order with care. I think one thing to improve would be providing an approx delivery time once the order is submitted online, but all in all, I will most definitely order from Marine...

Took two and a half hours from the point of ordering to being delivered. We phoned up about 20 minutes after the expected delivery time to be told it would be another 15-20 minutes because they was busy (that's fine and understandable) but it arrived another hour past this call. The pizza was definitely cooked and sat waiting for ages, then put back in the oven. Arrived cold, burnt and flavourless. We would have at least expected a fresh re-cooked order for the delay. Ordered today at 5.25pm estimated delivery 6.15. it got to 6.35 and we called the shop to be told they were busy and the order had just left. We live about a 10 minutes drive from the shop. At 7.25 the order still hasn't arrived this was 2 hours after order, so we rang again to be told the order has definitely gone and to give it 10 minutes, this would mean it had left the shop and hour ago!!! It never did arrive so requested a refund from just eat. If it's that short staffed they shouldn't be taking on orders if they can't cope. No offer of a discount or anything from the shop. Poor...
