Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Bradford

Everyone knows costa is over priced. A sandwhich and drink costs. Like nearlly £10. So lets Forget the price I'm fine with that. I need to know what costa staff get paid? because in this costa they look so miserable and super slow. I waited in the queue 15 minutes and it wasnt even busy the staff were on 1 speed, I've been to other costa shops and when its busy they are rushing their speed changes but not in this costa it stayed on LEVEL 1. ANYWAY i Finaghy got my hot chocolate but with no cream, so i asked for cream, 0 communication back, the staff member literally tipped some hot chocolate out added cream and threw it back at me. Like that is bad customer service, i wanted to say your getting paid for working and I'm paying a lot of money for a drink so a smile a kind word goes a long way... Any Costa bosses reading this get some customer training done on this branch... sorry about the negative feedback but its honest...

Came in for breakfast and ordered a Pain Au Chocolat. It cost £2.40 which was steep for what it was. It was very dry and chewy. As if it had been sat out for days.

The staff were initially happy to exchange it for some toast which tasted very nice and had stated that the pastries had been baked that very morning.

When it came to leave, the lady behind the counter said with a childish attitude “was your toast better than your three day old croissant?” before going on to say she won’t take my opinions personally (not how customer feedback is intended to be taken anyway)!

I found this to be extremely unprofessional.

Costa needs to train their staff better. They all seemed very young and inexperienced when it came to decent customer...

Sorr no stars for food I did not have any. Very busy could have been twice as big. Only thing that I don't like about costa is the people taking up full tables for four when they are on their own on laptops. Three such tables here yesterday and people walked out because know where to sit. Just a little more thought , maybe set rules about how much room they can take up or have breakfast bar like table especially for people using laptops.. I know they need to work but just have more consideration for others and it's not all laptop uses some are really polite and...
