Leeds Road Fisheries — Restaurant in Bradford

People pls be aware this places fish masala and donner is absolutely disgusting I've jus bought 3 fish and 2 dooner and chips paid ,nearly £50, by the time I got home from Bradford to wakefield and put the food on table to eat the fish masala was dry tasteless the donner stunk and did not taste right.

Pls go to city road fisheries try they fish masala.

These people are robbing u, they don't make they own donner and the guy with a big smile on his face is a liar. I couldn't believe it none of my kid ate any off it, it was bloody dry no taste.

To the management sort ur food out ur robbing people 9.50 for fish masala which has no taste and dry, I've never felt ripped off but today you guys made me feel I have been.!!! If u want to make good fish masala go to city rd fisheries and try they fish masala, u might learn something of them instead of ripping people of with a big smile on ur face. I was so looking forward to that taste of salt & vinegar on a fresh portion of fish n chips. Not sure what the fried fish was but it wasn't cod for sure. Thats not an issue as they don't sell cod n chips, but at least let the fish be hot. Now im a person that normally doesnt put salt n vinegar on my chips but even though i witnessed the server dousing my fish n chips, I really couldn't taste the difference. I can only conclude that they've somehow weakened the strength of those condiments. One review here says "the best fish and chips in Bradford" and if that's the case I'm so, so, sorry for the Bradford population. I also ordered 2 pieces of SFC. Visited at lunch time recently for fish and chips and a kabader on naan.

Taste wise the fish and chips were spot on, depending on how you prefer your batter. This was a thickish batter, good taste but lacked that crispiness in the middle part of the fish but that is just down to my preference of wanting a lighter batter.

My criticism with the fish would be the size, it was genuinely small, so much that my 2 year old just snacked his way through it. Apparently I was just unlucky and the fish isn't normally this tiny according to a friend who claims he's a regular here.

I only had two bites of the Kabader as it wasn't for me but this was spot on. Great taste, good size and no skimping with the salad and sauce. All this missed was some onion with the salad. Much better than the last kabader I had...
