Maya's Takeaway — Restaurant in Bradford

I have ordered from this place before, it was late then and again today. Previously I was treat with more respect and better service, the food was a greater quality too.

I ordered food for the family which had a guideline of 45-60 minutes. It came to around the 75 minute mark and I called them to see how long it would be, after being spoken to like crap on the phone with an abrupt answer of 'he has set off, bye'.

Around 10 minutes later the driver called for directions, he ended up about a mile away from our house. I mentioned I had been waiting almost 2 hours for my food now and it's becoming a joke. He threatened the take the food back (even though we had already paid for it.) and got very aggressive on the phone.

After the driver finally turns up he saunters up to the front door with his head stuck up his own rear. Tried to apologize by calling his own colleagues a**holes. I know it wasn't entirely the drivers fault however it could of been handled and spoken to us with a bit more respect after all we are paying his wages.

When we finally put the food onto the plates it was cold as suspected and very soggy. The wrapping was all soaked into the food and remained that way, I wouldn't of fed this to my dog even if it was starving and ended up throwing it in the bin. Also the majority of the order was missing, we should of received 3 portions of chips and only received 1. I also ordered something to tip it over the £20 mark for the free drink and popadoms however these also was missed out.

Abysmal customer service and abysmal food. Wouldn't recommend anyone to order from here and certain staff members need to learn a little...

I use this takeaway alot and can't fault any of the food that comes from here! I highly recommend any of the currys they are made with such unique taste and flavours! I also recommend any of the burgers (yes I am a burger freak). They have a fair few deals as well for when you are ordering for the family. Can't fault anything on the menu and if I'm getting a burger chips and a drink I'd say it's in line with other takeaways and is reasonably priced. I feel you get your money's worth here for the good food and tastes and as mentioned would recommend instantly to all! On key days the waiting times can vary and feel like a lifetime and other days the meal can be ordered and delivered...
