My review of 4 years ago is below, today is Sunday 7th May 2023, early morning, I went for a coffee, the manager is chilling out in the back whilst a young worker (Aaliyah) is made to take orders for the drive-thru, and then she had to make them with no help whatsoever! Poor girl was running back and forth! The Management at this place are JOKE!
Ive been coming to this Mcdonalds (Ingleby rd, Bradford) every morning for the last 3 years, this morning i ordered a coffee at the drive-thru, paid for it, drove to the next window to collect it, i could see the coffee was made waiting to be given however i was totally ignored by the 2 Mcdonalds staff at the window, i waited 2 to 3 minutes & had to tell the Mcdonalds worker 'can i have my coffee please?' Only at that moment did one of the workers (Saad) give the coffee, i asked why they didnt give the coffee when they could see me waiting, i got no reply so i told 'Saad' he should be more attentive to the customers to which i was told by 'Saad' to 'F Off!' At this moment i started recording on my phone, i asked the worker for his full name to which he said 'Saad', i asked for his surname he told me he doesnt have one .. (Okay ..đ), then the supervisor came to the window, he was more interested in me not filming rather than listen to my complaint so he put his hand infront of my phone, he too would not give me Saad's surname as i wanted to make a formal complaint, my request for Saad's surname and the area managers contact were totally ignored so i had to phone the main customer services myself via google to inform them of this incident and to make a complaint. It has happened previously at this same Mcdonalds, i feel most of the staff lack sensitivity and are very poor when it comes to 'customer service', i feel the managers themselves dont have any understanding of 'corporate social responsibility'. Having worked previously as a trainer for two multi-nationals this place lacks training when it comes to dealing with customer complaints and dealing with customers in general. Im taking this complaint as far as i can to see how they resolve this problem, customers should not be told to 'F off' for giving feedback regarding a service for which they are paying. I would not recommend this particular branch of Mcdonalds as the staff this morning including the duty supervisor/manager were very rude and very unprofessional.

   Read moreThe âmanager in chargeâ is a complete discredit to your business. She wasnât the manger in charge but pretended to be. We left the drive though without part of the meal, rang up to explain we donât live near and it was for my child. The girl who answered the phone acted unbothered said we either go down today or go another day? Her attitude stunk over the phone which I told her and her manager justified her responses saying sheâs a human. She told me to put the writing down on paper and they can use CCTV to investigate. Obviously thereâs no audio but I have the recording on my phone. She then went to get me a refund even through I told her I wanted the wrap as like I said it was for my child. She came back with change (even though I paid on card) and sent me away. I proceeded to tell her I want the wrap because I need to feed my child and she just went in the back without saying a work. Itâs actually a joke the way the way they feel like they have no customer satisfaction to obtain to. No communication, no apology again just proves the point and shows the level of service they provide which is totally non existent. She needs demoting because her lack of emotional intelligence is shocking. All her staff clearly have the same attitude as her which is quite concerning for you as a business, she doesnât look like she wants to be there, face on the whole time the minute I walked in she knew i was coming to complain. The reason for this review is to highlight this because all your reviews are poor and nothing is clearly being done. The food not being in the bag is quite common for that store that isnât the issue, itâs their disgusting derogatory attitude, sense of entitlement and poor conduct. Why they are working in customer service is beyond me. I will 100% be taking this further. I have all the details relevant and needed for this to be looked into.    Read moreVery rude staff. It clearly says on google that itâs open 24 hours meaning I could easily pop in early in the morning right? Wrong. I wanted to grab some breakfast before work like I did the week prior at around 5:30 when the McDonaldâs was open and everything was fine. I proceed to enter when I realise that one of the doors were locked, making me confused and look around outside trying to figure out whether or not theyâre open today. 2 minutes later a staff member walks out asking âdo you work hereâ which I obviously replied with no. He follows up with the question âthen what are you doing here?â Honestly I was quite baffled. What could I possibly be doing at a McDonaldâs thatâs supposed to be open 24hours? Definitely not getting foodđ. I replied that I wanted to get food obviously which he replied with some sort of mumble but after repeating himself he stated that theyâre closed and open at 7. I said to him that last week I came at the same time and they were open so then he proceeded to go back inside to speak to the manager. After he came back out he said âyou can get a taxi and go to the drive throughâ. After he said that I just walked off because I needed to get to work and he was frankly wasting my time. Why should I waste more money and time on a taxi when theyâre supposed to be open for customers to walk in? I highly suggest this McDonaldâs has a word with staff to educate them on how to properly communicate with customers and to update their opening times on google if theyâre not actually open for 24 hours.
