Salty's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Bradford

The worst experience ever. Went in ordered 4 sausage and chips and a chip butty, got told to wait a few minutes which was fine. This ended up being a half an hour waiting for the chips. The sausages were done ages before but they continued to serve about 6 customers after me all of whom had chips with their orders. They kept apologising, telling me they were waiting for chips and saying ‘oh I’ll just serve those because theirs is ready…’ while they all had chips. The woman who initially took my order was rude and when I ordered kept rolling her eyes at me. The chip butty was done ages before the rest of them and was left on the side which ended up being cold and stale by the time we got home to eat it. Absolute joke, definitely...

As I went into the shop, the lady asked if I wanted any fish, I told her I would like one and I could see that there was one already fried in the counter. The lady said that she was waiting for her chips to be ready, never asked me exactly what I wanted. After a few minutes the customer in front of me had waited long enough and she walked out. Eventually the lady asked me what I wanted, a fish butty, and I was served. The few chips she gave me were Okay but the fish was very dry and the batter was very hard to chew. The staff on shift did not know price of a bottle of pop. The woman serving let the guy in front of without paying full price for his food rather than taking something back. Barely said a word to me while ordering. I spent over £30 and at no point did I feel like a valued customer. Will not be returning. She made me feel even weird because 8 as I left as she apologized to next customer for me placing a large order, only to find they were doing the same and she didn't have enough food to do their order, maybe if she had asked how many fish people wanted as they entered they would have been ready for anotger...
