Lovely pub in the heart of Addingham and a short bus ride into Ilkley. Stayed in our motorhome in the car park which was beautifully peaceful. The service at the Swan was top notch both evenings and the food was excellent, especially the extensive specials board. Food portions were generous, the Moqueca had loads of fish and prawns in it,likewise the Thai curry the following day. Good choice of decent ales and wine too. Loads of outdoor seating (covered and uncovered)as well as a choice of rooms indoors. Recommend booking at the weekends. Fabulous weekend. Keep it up Swan Inn - we'll be back!

Went on the off chance that there was a table free for Sunday lunch, we were shown to a table in the snug with a really nice log fire 🔥 burning away. Drinks ordered and after going through the starter menu we decided to have white pudding and bacon with a poached egg and goats cheese with salad. Mains were both roast beef with all the trimmings. Our food was delicious 🤤 and we enjoyed every bite. Would I recommend this place, YES.

Went here alone on a mid day weekday, service is incredible and food is incredible! Best lamb shank I have ever had, gravy absolutely divine, 10/10 for everything. Fire was on and it was love, warm and welcoming. Food and drinks came to £25 and I picked the more expensive dish on the menu so could easily be under £20 for food and drinks if you’re on a budget to eat out.

First class, service and food. Nothing too much trouble. Unlike so many eateries these days, particularly the small chains or, those that think they’ve invented dining out, these guys have a phone for booking and discussing your reservation. With no robot in sight I rang them up. Peter couldn’t have been more helpful. They made a late lunch table for 6 the next day for us and let us pre order our Sunday roast as they operate ‘when it’s gone’ for this. On the day the food was excellent, proper gravy not a processed gelatinous poor excuse in sight! Beer perfect and staff that genuinely cared.

I never eat at anywhere that only uses auto booking systems or, invites you to send them a message that they may get back to you on when they fancy it. I invite you to do the same, hopefully like me you’ll end up enjoying better service and food and, who knows maybe a little revolution will begin and restaurants will be reminded who their customers are.

I had a pleasant pint of Timothy Taylors shandy and a Roast Pork Baguette with chips and salad, a substational lunch. The baguette was soft on the inside and crisp outside and warm throughout. Thinly sliced pork, stuffing and with apple sauce dripping out, the chips were lovely and crisp and not chunky which can sometimes be too much. This was all served in a lovely clean quiet pub in the Main St. The lady behind the bar was pleasant, helpful and served with a smile and a hello, which i tend to think is important, i will happily return in the future. For people watchers there are two benches out front, water bowls for dogs and plenty seating to the rear, over head heaters and...

I visited here with a friend on a Thursday lunchtime just after Easter. Second time eating in Addingham, but first time at The Swan.

Village establishment that reminds me of the simple rural pubs that could be found in agricultural communities prior to the 1980s, before "the country pub" started to become "themed" as an overly-curated concept.

Food (burger with chorizo and blue cheese) was excellent and reasonably priced, and the whole menu looked full of interesting possibilities that I will work my way througn on future visits. The Brazilian fish stew will probably be next on the...
