My partner and I went here for the first time today for lunch and frankly it was quite dissapointing. I ordered a hot chocolate and a sweet chilli chicken wrap which was freezing cold chicken with the wrap itself being warm meaning the chicken was probably just taken out of the fridge and placed on a wrap that was warmed, which was really dissapointing and I had to ask for it be warmed up. The hot chocolate was good and cant complain about that. My partner got a brie and sundried tomatoe and pesto panini which was really good, the sandwich tasted amazing and clearly it had quqlity ingredients. Unfortunately thr cappucino served to my parnet was probably one of the worst ive tasted, not only did it tasted watery but the beans were clearly burned, the lady doing them seemed really young so perhaps she was inexperienced, paying £3 for this type of cappucino is a rip off though. The service was not great, it was busy inside however it took 15 minutes to get our tap waters that were left waiting in the bar for someone to pick up. The lady that took our orders didnt even let us finish ordering as we wanted to order a milkshake aswell and she just rushed off our table when we had just mentioned our food. Once we caught up to her again and asked for a milkshake she said they were no longer doing it cause it was too busy and took too long to do.... thats the first time ive heard someoje refusing to sell a product they have in stock... when she came back with the cutlery she also chucked it on our table, not placed or put it next to us, she chucked it... all in all theres potential in terms of food, they need some tweeks on some of there products though, the service needs massive training in all sorts of ways as there was massive disorganisation and they seemed like headless chickens (forgot to add someone came to take our order after another waitress had already taken it which shows the level of disorganisation). Not sure if I would return but with the right training perhaps this could improve for...
Read moreNever experienced such poor service for a cafè- attended with my partner and son for lunch. The young waitress knocked over a bottle of coke on the table which seeped through to my son's leg, though she apologised she didn't offer to get me a replacement drink and so I asked for one. The manager or an older lady who appeared to be management came over and from a far shouted we don't have any more Diet Coke; no hello; no apology or general kindness/ care. I asked what they had and picked a tea. She then came back minutes later and cleared the plates as well as the milk I was clearly still using with the tea. The staff spoke about me and the situation giggling at the desk and the environment was toxic. £38 for two drinks and two jackets was steep but the service just affirmed never to return or recommend anyone. There is a clear need for CS training here or simply a change of career if you have such an...
Read moreA lovely little farm cafe, right next to a nice farm shop, that is set back from the main road which makes you feel like you are in a more remote location. The cafe is a fantastic place to bring the family and relax. There is a lovely playground with swings, slides and a ride on digger. Staff were friendly, professional and polite. Service could have been a little faster but I guess that could be blamed on fussy customers in front of me. Price is a little steep with two cream teas coming to around £10+ the scones are big and you don't get a lot of jam and cream to spread. But all in all I left here with positive experience and...
