Really impressed! The front-of-house team were genuinely lovely. A friendly gentleman at the bar welcomed us and showed us straight to our well-reserved table. Ami and Vilte were incredibly warm and welcoming, both with big smiles on their faces. Ami took her time walking us through the menu—since we were using a voucher, there were a few limitations, but she explained everything calmly and helpfully. Vilte served our food and kept checking in to see how we were doing. At one point, she saw us taking a selfie and immediately offered to take a photo for us—such a thoughtful gesture. The food came out quickly. The pork belly was beautifully soft and tender, and the gravy had just the right balance—not too sweet. Each plate looked like a piece of art, with flavours that worked perfectly together. I also noticed a table with a dog, and without being asked, Ami brought over a water bowl straight away. That kind of attention to detail really stood out. A solid 10/10 for both food and service. Highly recommended!

Love this place. Cozy and warm atmosphere. Family friendly too. Very knowledgeable staff at the bar who clearly gave us info on the differences of the ales and helped us make good choices too. Love the drinks and food (very filling, lightly battered fish and chips). Friendly staff overall. Had a very pleasant experience. UPDATE: Just had a nice dinner with family yesterday and it's still one of our favourite pubs in the neighbourhood. Friendly, welcoming, and professional staff. Vibe is relaxed and laidback. Lots of options in the menu, including for vegetarians/vegans. They could, however, make some improvements in the portion size of the calamari but it was tasty. Overall, a good experience once again. Another update: Brewhouse and Kitchen is becoming a favourite holiday hangout. After 2022's new year's eve dinner, we also tried its Christmas Day menu and, as expected, we were not disappointed. Festive vibe, delicious food, a very good beer taster set. It continues to be our favourite neighbourhood pub!

First class establishment and deservedly on the Cask Marquee Ale Trail. The superb ales, brewed on site, are unfined - ie, cloudy. For those who drink with their eyes, this will be a problem; those with a more discriminatory taste will experience really notable beers, well deserving of the Cask Marque accreditation. The staff are well trained and seem genuinely interested in what they do, Guto, especially was attentive and affable. I tried a lite bite, the Spicy Chicken Wings, this was also OK, but if I wanted to be picky, perhaps another five minutes under the heat would have made them perfect. Interestingly, for an establishment bracketed on both sides, here IS a beer garden. Tables and chairs are laid out across the road from the main entrance and patrons are welcome to take food and drink across this road and sit in the afternoon sun - when it shines.

This is my 3rd year for Mothers Day special, and I'm sad to say I won't be back. Me and my mother in law chose Roast Pork amd cracking but I was surprised when it arrived and had no crackling. I carried on with the meal, which, by the way, is delicious and after eating one slice of 'pork was shocked to discover it was gammon (which wasn't even an option for the roast meat). We called over the server and she said 'sorry, that's my fault. I didn't realise they'd ran out of pork when I took your order.' We were then offered a SLICE of a different meat. 15 minutes later when I had practically finished the roast she came over and asked if the meat had arrived. I told her it hadn't and not to bother now as we'd almost finished. Upon paying she didn't add the 10% service charge which I would have refused to pay anyway. I really can't comprehend why they thought to put gammon as a pork alternative on someone's plate instead if coming over to explain they'd ran put of pork and would we like the beef or chicken (or gammon!) instead. Luckily no-one had any allergies to gammon! Sorry to say we...
