PALERMO PIZZERIA — Restaurant in Bristol

Pizza was sent with the wrong toppings on it. In particular it was sent with Mushrooms on instead of one of the ordered toppings and one of the recipients is allergic. Called to complain and they first offered me another pizza but in another 50-55 minutes, which i said was unacceptable. Then they offered me credit which I said wasn't ok because we were unlikely to order from there ever again. Then they offered a replacement pizza expedited to go out with their next deliverer. It arrived. Over an hour after I spoke to them. We are 5 minutes around the corner from them so this is a pathetic effort at the best of time, and even worse than the first offer. I can cope with the idea that mistakes happen, but at least have the decency to own up to your mistake and make reasonable amends for them....

It was one of the bad reviews that made me order from here... A mistake they tried to rectify 3 times with a disgruntled customer... Obviously shows great customer service! With not being local, I called to see how I could get delivery to hotel.. again great service. Pizza arrived, before expected, from polite happy delivery driver. Crispy semolina flour base (these guys know pizza), pizza held well, great taste, crispy chunky chips. Better than my local pizza shops up north, will use again next time I'm down. Keep it up lads. Cons for me (personal opinion): More green chilli please, if I order it I like it spicy :) I can always take some off if there are too many. Just a quick note about the pizzas we’ve had delivered: The first time we ordered, everything was absolutely delicious — we were so happy! The second time, we tried different pizzas with ham, and unfortunately, we were really disappointed. The ham just wasn’t good — we ended up picking it off, but its flavour had already affected the whole pizza. The pepperoni wasn’t great either (though still edible), but the ham was definitely the bigger issue.

On the bright side, the pizzas with just veggie toppings and cheese were fantastic, and we’ll definitely be ordering those again! We’d love it if you could consider changing the ham (and maybe upgrading the pepperoni too) — it would make such...
