The Whitchurch — Restaurant in Bristol

Last 4 weeks been coming here for food with my 2 boys first 2 weeks food was great last 2 the food have been shoking to say the least absolutely disgusting order food and items are missing this evening came for food the lasagne was missing garlic bread and salad and came with chips the waiter spilled it all over my 11 year old son and only said ill replace the chips not sorry not are you OK nothing as you can see in my all American burger was meant to have salad as you can see none of that and look at the state of it my partner had a beef burger look at rhe state of it cut in half and cheesy garlic bread where is the cheese it's clear to say the chef ain't got a clue even a sou chef could cook better than that the standards of this pub have gone right down hill will not be back for food ever disgraceful avoid like the plague all spent over £50 on food and a couple of slushies and even the slushie machine wasn't working correct I even said ill have j2os instead and pay any difference and they totally ignored me took them 10 mins exactly just to do 2 slushies also in the burger have a look on a plate red onion not at all just the skin...

Thankyou to the very helpful waiter that looked after us for the evening, however due to family circumstances we couldn't book till gone 8 o'clock, the starters and main courses were very satisfying except the lasagnas, then we were told kitchen was shut and still hadn't had pudding which was only 9.30, lucky for us they did stay just so we could have pudding, which also was lovely, I don't think as a family we would eat there again on a Saturday evening, I do understand that as well as the restaurant the pub is also part of the establishment, but our party consisted of mostly adults and one young adult, most of the evening there were very young children in the restaurant, running around not actually eating and there parents enjoying themselves more so, then looking after there well being, I understand children are very lively and was in this position not so long ago, but always made sure that the places we went to gave them the opportunity to run off all the energy and not cause any upset to people enjoying there night out, it's such a shame that I feel that I have to write a review like this as the staff...

We attended a family Christmas get-together on the 28th, where 21 of us gathered to celebrate. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout the event. Even though our group was quite large, there were no delays or issues with the food being served at different times to accommodate everyone.

The food itself was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. The children’s menu was especially impressive, offering a great selection of kid-friendly dishes that they all thoroughly enjoyed. Additionally, the drinks menu had a great range of options, ensuring that every one of us, from adults to children, had something enjoyable to sip on.

Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations, and we left feeling truly satisfied. We will definitely be returning for future gatherings and would highly recommend this venue to others. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable occasion...
