Half a star really Purchased a coffee and bottle of water and used the outside seating to feed the tiny ones (eldest is 13months) and were suddenly and rudely shouted at from the gate that we shouldn't be eating food from elsewhere there, we tried to explain it was for the babies and that it wasn't busy (3/9 tables occupied including ours) and were told again, saying there's signs....please note there's A sign on the window to the indoor seating. The staff have never heard of customer service and the coffee was poor to say the least, never purchasing again.

Good Parking at best. Owner was rude and impatient when we were ordering. Had a Bacon and cheese sandwich and my gf had a Mushroom, egg and cheese sandwich. The bread wasn't toasted so became very soggy and looked very unappetising. The bacon and cheese tasted alright but yeah mushroom egg and cheese was not. The cafe is just a few benches by a stagnant river. Nice for a quick snack not much else.

Perfect spot for a refreshment however not very keen staff and high prices for what you get. The sausage rolls are soggy

I would rather eat at Fed!

Coffee: We ordered an oat milk latte. It was not as expected. Sachet coffee (albeit nicer than Nescafé), with a dash of oat milk and some hot water. There are vans that sell better coffee in nearby parks as they have proper barista machines! For the price at this cafe, the coffee wasn't worth it.

Cake: advertised as "fresh" not homemade. Carrot cake was okay but the blueberry was a little dry. The same price as Fed's cakes but nowhere near the same quality.

Queue: we were there at the weekend and there was a massive queue. There was only one person serving, who forgot our order many times.

Seating: it's a nice river to sit next to, and they have dog watering bows which is nice. Far too many signs that make you feel unwelcome "no dogs on the table" "don't climb the railings" etc.

I would expect better from a Bristol cafe! Especially for the...

I went here with a friend who is in his 80s and has dementia. His cup of tea was very hot so I asked if we could have an extra cup (they are made out of paper) to insulate it a bit. The guy serving said that they were too expensive (they are made out of paper) and we'd have to make do with a bit of kitchen roll. The kitchen roll was fiddly so I had to carry the cup myself over to a seat where we drank the tea (we had hoped to carry the tea as we walked).

Two drinks and two slices of cake came to over £10 which was particularly galling because it isn't even real coffee - it's just instant! Next time we'll get our coffees/tea before we go to...

Before today I would of said lovely little place and friendly staff . I have come here many times . But after today I will not be coming back. The back was shut so we had to sit at the front of the hut . The lady that served us came round the front and was following my son everywhere, she even asked him to come round the back with her . After being told no by me and my son she continued to ask . I asked my son to come and sit in the corner to get away from her , she then sat down right by us . We then got up and left . May be harmless but made me feel very uncomfortable and I just wanted to get my son away from there . Will not be back...
