I visited with my son and daughters and their partners, as we were staying at a local hotel but fancied something different. We all had pies, and they were absolutely delicious; my lamb and mint pie was sooo good. And there was a good choice of ciders!! The landlord was a very friendly, genial host. It was a fabulous experience and we would highly recommend them!! I will certainly pop in again if I’m passing.

Me and my family came on holiday and the queen of hearts was the local pub and it did not disappoint. The staff could not be more friendly, gave great regimentations to were to go for the day . Food: I had a large steak and ale pie and it was so nice . Food and drinks were cheap and still amazing quality. Atmosphere was so nice , a nice place to relax and have a meal and drink . 10/10

Ian (landlord) was very friendly and helpful , took over the pub 5 years and completely restored it. Very homely, a good choice on the menu I had whitebait which was delicious ample portion followed by liver and bacon again Hugh portion, very filling and scrumptious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this establishment

Two of us turned up at The Queen of Hearts today hoping for a Sunday dinner. We were greeted by very friendly staff and made to feel "family" welcome from the very first word. We were given a table and served our drinks quickly, without feeling rushed. The beer was well kept and went down a treat. Given the choice of roast pork, turkey or beef, or one of the specials (Cromer crab salad, lamb shank, mash and veg, lasagne with salad and garlic bread or a fourth which I can't remember) we both chose the roast beef dinner. We were warned of a little wait as we ordered. In truth the food came out in very good time and the small wait we had was well worth it for a very well prepared meal of fresh locally sourced veg and meat, all of which were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. I will certainly be heading back here in the future as and when my travels bring me this way. I have paid a fair bit more for a meal that didn't meet these standards and didn't have the friendly welcome that we...

The queen of hearts does amazing pies! I had a lamb and mint pie and my partner had a steak and ale pie, mine was great but his was amazing!! A pound of meat in a large pie! The food wasn’t expensive either, only £10 something for my pie meal and £12 something for his large pie meal! The pies come with mash or chips, peas and gravy.

The place could probably do with some redecorating but the food was lovely and so were the staff!

Plenty of parking, easy to...

We contacted the lovely people that own this place in advance because we wanted to bring our nervous Rottweiler. We had some special requirements and all of our needs were met. Nothing was too much trouble and because of the fantastic people and their amazing hospitality we would definitely come again and highly recommend everyone else should too. Thank you for a wonderful evening and for going above and beyond. Also the food was amazing 👍 We will...
