The Ram Inn — Restaurant in Broadland

The Ram Inn is a great pub. The owner has set the tone through their own personality as a welcoming, friendly and genuine atmosphere. The staff behind the bar are fantastic extensions of this. It feels more like being around a group of friends, they are all interesting, engaging and authentic people with a lot to say and compassionate listeners.

There is a constant flow of new and tasty food trucks and the pub has plenty of weekly events that keeps things fresh.

The Ram Inn is also completely dog friendly, and has their own on site snack hustler "Ralphie" along with a gorgeous cat who believes (and quite rightly) that they own the pub.

A truly nice place to have a drink, and enjoy a genuine community...

Started in North Walsham and wound our way through the lanes of Norfolk looking for a pub with atmosphere. We eventually took a road that looked like it looped around and came back to the main road, passed the pub, turned around and came back. The atmosphere on a Wednesday at 4.00 in the afternoon was fantastic. We were about to leave, the boss wanted a pitstop and then I got chatting to the locals about rugby, add on another 20 mins or so. I am now looking for a B&B so I can stagger back to bed next time we are in the area. Fortunately we had already arranged for a meal elsewhere otherwise we would have had to sleep in the car. First time ever using this establishment. Nice clean and well maintained premises with a nice beer garden at the back and seating out the front.

The bar staff (Katie with an ie and not a y) was welcoming and with a good sense of humour. Couldn't fault her her warmth and friendliness towards new customers. I'll make an allowance for her inability to make a heart in the head of a pint of Guinness. She tried and I think the management should pay her double time to practice until she can pull off a shamrock!

The rest of the staff were equally as friendly and professionally.
