Visited here with my 2 son's last week after school. Both my boys ordered 2 j20s. The bar maid managed to smash park of the neck of the bottle when opening the bottle but still served it to us. We went to the table and on inspection small shards of glass were present around the neck of the bottle.

Took it back to the till be ask for another one as not sure it had glass in. She simply poured it into a glass and gave it back. I stated there could be glass in that drink that my son who's 9 could swallow.

She reluctantly gave me a fresh bottle - perhaps a bit of basic common knowledge and training wouldn't go a miss. Imagine if he did drink it ?

Another thing aswell they don't serve food after the school run - could really benefit from having a small menu chips / snacks many a times we would of stopped off after school your missing trade.

Also as stated in reveiws does take time to be acknowledged and served at times - doesn't make it very welcoming to...

Very disappointing and especially for those with special dietary requirements. Our conversation with two members of staff went as follows. Do you serve gluten free food? Man left to fetch help. A lady appeared and handed over a menu and said all our meat dishes are gluten free. I see, I said a little concerned that I had not been clear in my question. Then I was told that the lasagna would be ok. To which I replied, so you have sourced gluten free pasta? The reply was then even more confusing when she said yes there’s no meat it’s spinach and mushroom! As my wife has been hospitalised in the past when served a dish containing gluten, we simply said thank you, and left.

We had a Christmas family meal at this pub with 12 adults and seven children. The food came out cold my wife's steak salad was Cooked more than well done even though she asked for medium. The meat also smelt off. I complained to our server about her meal asking for an adjustment in the price then when I went to the bar to get some drinks she went and questioned my Wife about it again, she felt bad as she was put on the spot and explained it was probably her and she should've chosen something different so the server wouldn't take it off the bill. salad was not fresh either. Overall quality of the food I thought was terrible. There was only one member of bar staff serving so had to wait a while to be served for drinks also.
