One of the worst Indian restaurants I've ever been to... Keeping aside the fact that the food taste absolutely awful the prices are pure rip-off. The image below is of Tandoori platter mix from their menu which costs a whooping £13. Furthermore, they did not even bother to change anything for the Karahi Chicken we ordered - the same tandoori plater was drowned in some Karahi mix and served. 2 biriyani's, 1 tandoori mix platter, a Karahi chicken and chips drained us close to £50.

My 2nd visit. To celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were a group of 7. Absolutely beautiful food again and great service. Looking forward to our next visit! The only gripe was that we had the table nearest the door which was a bit draughty to start with. They do have 2 doors but they open a weird way which usually means one or the other gets left open (by people who couldn't be bothered to check). It won't stop us from returning though as the food and service are excellent!

I was expecting better things from this highly rated restaurant. It started well enough but the main course were a disappointment. Both dishes suffering from dry chicken and too much oil. My Jal dish was very bitter with no depth of flavour. The sides were very good and there was a nice complementary Tia Maria "shot" to finish off with but sadly these were no compensation.

My wife and I came here for Christmas day, we were really excited and in the spirit of things. Prior to booking, we asked what we would be eating on the day, (thinking we would have a choice) we were told by a member of staff "to leave it with us". The starters were very nice, so therefore we were really looking forward to the main course. Out came a leg of lamb, with salt and vinegar pringles dotted around the tray and cheap onion ring crisps placed on top. Then came a rather burnt looking chicken (or perhaps quail, due to its size) which was incredibly dry and inedible. Turkey slices arrived, which looked slimey, so we didn't even try these and the sprouts and roast potatoes on the side were freezing cold. Finally came a chicken and lamb bhuna. The chicken again was dry and unappetising and the lamb bhuna contained mainly bone. We complained about this, as we've never eaten such awful dishes. We were offered additional sauce to make the meat less dry, but ufortunately nothing could have made this meat succulent. The desserts were disappointing. A cheesecake served in a try with literally a thin layer of digestive, squirted cream and a few strawberries dotted on top, chocolate brownies, shop bought mince pies and shortbread biscuits that were completely stale . Before asking for the bill we again reiterated that the meal, nor dessert was good, but received very little reaction. The bill came, we had already paid a £20 deposit and we needed to pay an additional £80, so in total £100 for a really shocking meal, which we barely touched. The waiter did not handle it well when we stated that we would not be paying the full amount, he kept comparing us with other diners. He was not at all professional, telling me I wasn't listening to him. I said how we often visit and always have takeaways with family from this restaurant. Unfortunately we will not be eating here again, nor will we be having a takeaway due to the way it was dealt with. If I could give it 0 stars I would and it was an incredibly disappointing Christmas meal, which should have been a...

The restaurant offers a warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere, with a well-maintained dining area and respectful staff. The tableware, including plates, cutlery, and napkins, was spotless, reflecting good hygiene standards.

However, while the menu holds promise, the execution of certain dishes fell short. The Lamb Pathia, though flavorful, suffered from an overly oily texture that detracted from its appeal. The rice was acceptable but lacked the aromatic depth expected from well-prepared basmati. On the other hand, the Peshwari Naan stood out as an excellent balance of sweetness and fluffiness, complementing the meal beautifully. The Butter Chicken, a staple of Indian cuisine, was serviceable but failed to leave a lasting impression.

With some refinements in preparation and presentation, the restaurant has the potential to elevate its offerings. Additionally, the parking area would benefit from improved lighting, as it becomes pitch black at night, which could be a safety...

We booked and dined for 8 people on a Saturday evening, which was very busy, so wise to book. We had guests with us from Italy and Switzerland, so were particularly hoping all would go well...And that it did. We had visited prior to booking, to ensure it would be acceptable. We were sat upstairs at the back, so not in the way of any other customers, and we’re looked after extremely well by designated staff. Food came without waiting too long, and it was delicious ! Starters were particularly lovely, and the mains pleased everyone ! Beautifully cooked food, presented well and more than enough. No one really wanted sweets, but a few of us were persuaded by the Manager, and we’re given them free of charge, this was followed by a complimentary liqueur for everyone. Yum yum. Overall, very successful evening, with super service, food and complentary offerings, which really put the on the cake ! Thank you again to all the very pleasant staff. You will definitely be seeing us again...
