Used to love Cafe Pera before the rebrand but had to give the new place a go and judge it fairly and wow, we weren't disappointed. There are two other options in Hoddesdon to get Peri Peri chicken but I have to say for taste, portion size and price Pera Peri cannot be beaten The chicken was so tasty and juicy and all the sides were great portions and super tasty. The menu is almost a replica of Nandos but vastly cheaper and as Nandos won't be in Hoddesdon any time soon, if you fancy Peri Peri chicken I suggest you give this place a go. I came to Pera Peri for lunch and had a great experience. The food arrived quickly and the chicken was excellent. Juicy flavorful and cooked to perfection. They also serve halal food which is a big plus.

Our server Berfin was very welcoming and kind. Making the whole experience even better. As a thoughtful gesture they offered us complimentary tea and cake. Which was a lovely and refreshing surprise.

Overall the service food and atmosphere were all spot on. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend...
