Went with some friends for a meal after being recommended but it couldn't have been more of a let down. Despite ringing earlier on regarding the meal deal offer and them confirming it was still on we were greeted by an abruptly rude waiter who told us said offer was no longer on due to it being the festive season and despite the signage all over the front stating the offer is on we would be charged full price. Now, we're an optimistic lot, if the food is as good as people have said the price shouldn't matter. Personally I think the people who recommended this place were either high or playing a very cruel joke on us. The meat in the curry was dry (we ordered a variety across our group from chicken, lamb and prawn all of us had the same complaints) in addition the curries were abnormally spicy. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy a nice spicy curry on a winters eve. However, when I order a Tikka Masala because I just fancied a milder curry I didn't expect it to blow my head off or have me attached to the toilet the following day questioning where my life went wrong. A terrible experience and I urge you to proceed with caution, very disappointing as the restaurant itself is beautiful, in a great little location but seems to lack adequately trained staff. If you are in the area I'd recommend going to Haveli for your Indian needs or even going a bit further to Stapleford's Akbar as these places pride themselves on excellent customer service and...

We booked a table online for 20.00h on new years eve, We had been once before to this restaurant and we were quite contented with the meal on the evening in question, Unfortunately this experience wasn't the same, we ordered popadom and pickles which were fine, as soon as we finished the popidom and pickles the waiter took our order, and low and behold 5 minutes later our meal arrived, I questioned my partner on how quickly it had come to the table, but we carried on and had our meal, By this time it was 20.50h and I asked for a coffee, just to be told that "they hadn't any coffee" Strange I thought who runs out of coffee on new years eve, ....It was the same with the people on the next table, but I had a feeling of being rushed presumably for the next slotting which I feel was 21.00, Draw your own conclusions but around 03.15 am I was violently sick and diarrhoea as well, I think the food was maybe frozen and warmed up on demand, as you cant cook and prepare an Indian meal in the time provided, Hence I won't...

I can’t recommend this place enough!

Me and my best mate are heavily tattooed and get judged a lot and aren’t treated the best at most places before we’ve barely walked through the door, but this place had the best reception for us by a country mile.

We were welcomed in and had our chairs pulled out for us by the waiters for the first ever time, we had napkins put on our laps, warms towels after our meals, dry ice on the table for effect, complimentary chocolate at the end and we felt like kings in this place.

The food was absolutely incredible and all of this service and food for as little as £22.50 per person for our food and drinks. The tip was worth every single penny.

100% up there’s with one of the best places I’ve ever been for service, food and presentation.
