The Headstocks at Brinsley Ltd — Restaurant in Broxtowe

I have been coming here on and off since opening (it was me that informed Google of their existence), and I have never been disappointed. My most recent visit was on Sunday when I managed to drag my 15 year old daughter for a walk with the promise of tea and cake halfway. Our waitress was new and she was very apologetic about being slow, but we found the service very good. There were quite a few tables occupied so our wait was what you would expect. The cakes are amazing and it was a very good cup of tea (I’m quite particular). When we asked for the bill, we were given two huge cookies to take home because we had had to wait, but although this was appreciated (especially by my son who had stayed at home), it wasn’t necessary as we were very satisfied with the whole experience. I will be visiting again this week and I plan to try the new tapas menu one...

The Headstocks team did the most amazing buffet for our wedding celebration and we cannot recommend them highly enough! All our guests were blown away by the quality of the food and how delicious every single thing was. Claire and Frankie came to set everything up for us too, which I massively appreciated as it meant we could concentrate on the guests instead of having to run around sorting everything. Getting the buffet organised was stress-free and easily managed via direct contact with Claire, who is just the loveliest person you could ever want to deal with. The food looked great, tasted even better and you could feel the love and care that had been put into the preparation of everything. I booked The Headstocks Tearooms for my daughters baby shower & what a brilliant decision it was!! From the time of booking right through to the end of the baby shower, nothing was too much trouble for the owners/ staff. They were helpful, so accommodating , going above and beyond to make our afternoon so special. The food was amazing , all our guests commented on the generous amount and amazing quality. It was absolutely delicious. The Victoria sponge was the best my daughter and I had ever tasted !!!
