Went here yesterday to order a coffee on the way back from my lunch break. The chap serving on the counter didn't smile, greet me or even acknowledge my existence. I politely waited, the only customer in the queue, and waited.... and waited, but nothing, not even a friendly "I'll be with you in a moment". I don't know if he was having a bad day or whether he just didn't like my face but he seemed to blatantly ignore me and carried on tidying up his counter whilst I strolled the length of the queue area trying to make eye contact. After 3 or 4 minutes of standing there having my time wasted, I walked out. From where he was stood it would've been impossible for him not to have seen me, and he made ZERO effort to even try and fulfill his job in serving me as a customer. I didn't catch his name but he had one of those long metal bars in his right ear. Perhaps management might want to give him a reminder that friendliness and a sense of urgency is always welcome when patrons come to your establishment to spend their hard-earned...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreFar too eager to close, arrive well before 4.30, takes 10 minutes to acknowledge you then they say we are shutting in half an hour, but then take another 20 minutes to get your drinks ready, are they having a laugh (well yes, usually between themselves) witnessed a whole group of people turned away as they said it was drive thru only, this Costa is letting the team down (company) and In my opinion a better management, if indeed there is one here.
