Nearly didn't visit here due to bad reviews saying how busy and noisy it was, but it was quiet when I visited on a Saturday morning between 9 and 10 for a full English breakfast which was nicely cooked and extremely tasty. Noisy kids are only to be expected sometimes as there is a Whacky Warehouse next door, but it was quiet when I visited. Some people also complained about parking charge on reviews, but it is free to customers, and well signed outside and inside. Type in you reg number and parking is free. Two full English breakfasts and two coffees for under ÂŁ12.00 is great. Visited three weeks later between 9 and 10 9n a Sunday morning. Still good hot food at good value. Polite staff (served by Rebecca) and good atmosphere with noisy kids. Despite other reviews on about noisy kids and poorly cooked food, on our two visits we have found the exact opposite. Great food, great staff, relaxed atmosphere. The above review was written about a year ago. Visited a year later and was not so impressed. My daughter-in-law likes toast to be what I call warm bread, with no brown on it at all, whereas I think toast should be a golden brown colour. When it's black, neither of us like it, and both of it would call it burnt toast rather than toast. Yet that's exactly what was served up as toast. Burnt black. By the time we had complained and new toast was brought, the person whose toast it was had finished their breakfast.

Nice Greene King pub, with a play area attached to it for children, known as the "Wacky Warehouse". Ordered via the QR code and app, with food being brought quickly. For the small interaction had with staff, they were friendly and pleasant. I had the Full Monty Mixed Grill. My only issue would be that the yolks on my eggs were slightly hard. A few less seconds in the pan would have had them cooked to perfection. I'd also like to see mushrooms on the menu instead of peas. They go much better with a mixed grill in my opinion. Perhaps controversially, chips also don't belong on a mixed grill either and I would have preferred some grilled or tinned tomatoes in their place. I'm also slightly baffled as to what was special about the "signature breakfast gravy", as it appeared to just be normal gravy to me. All this being said, the food was tasty and filling and I believe relatively good value for money, with my total for food coming to ÂŁ18.97 including an extra fried egg and the gravy, plus a large Coke coming in at ÂŁ3.35.

Not great experience this time. Not only food was delayed by 1.10h, but The Great American Sizzler came with the burned vegetables. Waitress tried to insist since it is sizzler vegs has to be fried. Yes, fried, but not burned! Vegs were impossible to eat, ate just half of what we've ordered as kids and us drank quite a lot to keep the hunger at the bay. 1.10h serving time is outrageous, pub was not busy at all, and with it being Thursday it was very disappointing experience. Came to celebrate child's birthday, instead very hungry and angry. Definitely won't be back!

Don't bother. Called up in advanced to see what time they stop serving food and was told 9pm. Arrived about 8pm and they had stopped. Turned up with a group of 4, and also there was another 3 people who turned up before us for food also, but found out they had stopped serving. Having driven a good 30min, everyone left and we food a much better place round the corner serving food. The reason that paper mill staff gave when we asked why they had stopped even when we said on the phone and on the website that they serve until 9pm was, lack of customers so they sent the staff home... Sorry but if you advertise and even verbally say serving till 9pm, serve until 9pm. NEW EDIT: Tried here again to give it a second chance. Found an empty table, sat down ordered and we already had drinks in hand, when a man came to remove us off our table saying it was reserved when it wasn't. We had already ordered and been sat there for almost 20min already! He offered no other table and we were told to find one ourselves, just because they wanted to sit a larger party where we were sat. This place is understaffed, rude, an absolute joke to the industry, very poorly run with no care for their customers. This is the second time we thought we would give this place a chance and they have now blown it. Absolutely...

Bar staff are absolutley brilliant, Bex & Georgia are amazing when it comes to my children, everytime we visit always made to feel welcome, always interacting, and helping them when they ask. great service. Food is great. Paul’s great, anything you need paul is there to sort it. Definitely service with a smile with the bar staff

We always have family there for occasions, staff go above and beyond !

On the other hand - the wacky warehouse unfortunately is the biggest let down for the place, the women in charge of the wacky area came across rude and made 5 year old son cry when in the 5&under bit even though he was with me (his mother) and his younger siblings. The under 5’s is practically dirty, tape closing up rips and holes, ropes fraying and retird back, barely any balls in the ball pit. Soft play cubes flattered & ripped. My daughter stood in something sharp. It’s just unhygienic Thick dust and dirt around the whole area of the ball pit and this is the same everywhere in there! I didn’t last 2 minutes before removing my 9 month old out of there. Definitely isn’t worth paying for children to play not safe place to play in my eyes! Needs refurbishing and a...
