Food very good staff poor as it was mothers day and had a wedding on at same time they did not have enough staff on to do the job properly, 3 hours for a set 3 meal was far to long then when we needed drinks we had to go and find a waiter and order them then find anotherone 30 mins later as first one forgot, the staff were bullied by the managment for jobs that shoul have been done by the managment. Only one young girl behind bar with 300 guests who got shouted at, then the wife and daughter went outside for taxi as we paid bill and guess what arived the drink we orderd 40 mins later. If your starving be prepaired for long wait, tables will be a bit quicker as we will not be back again untill managment...

One problem I had was the menu displaying £11 for a bottle of Prosecco. There was no charge displayef per glass. We ordered 2 glasses and was charged £22. I queried this and was advised this was correct. On the website, the menu for afternoon tea is £22.50, and the charge to include a glass of prosecco is only £5 extra, so why was I charged £22? I pointed this out to a waiter, but no refund was provided.

Sandwiches and savouries were more interesting than the usual fare - eg mozzarella on brioche, a delicious warm slice of sausage roll. And finger sandwiches of course. The scones were generously sized with clotted cream and jam. We had seven little cakes each - a delightful mini strawberry tart, a triangle of chocolate brownie, lemon drizzle, macaron, plus others.
