Like to start by saying the kids loved the play area at the rear of the swan so whilst the kids were having fun we ordered drinks whilst browsing the menu for food and looking at the specials board we noticed Sunday roast was an option either beef at £10.95 or chicken which was a bit cheaper now as much as I love my vegetables my wife stated that I didn't want the broccoli or cauliflower which they appeared to have and stated it was not wanted on my Sunday roast which we were about to order. Reading the specials board at the side of the bar it stated that the beef, roast potatoes, and mixed vegetables, came on a giant Yorkshire pudding not a home made flour frisby being very burnt and not really edible the top side of beef looked like it had been 're heated more than once and no taste to it at all as for the roast potatoes they were also of very poor quality and it's not like I'm looking to finger point but i kind of understood why not one member of staff came to the table to ask us if our food was ok They would of more than likely be wearing it. All in all we visited this establishment last year and we enjoyed the food and the drinks how things have changed it states locally sourced produce as you walk in the door very local the landlord is growing it at the back of the pub we know this as we apparently sampled the smallest carrots I have ever seen from there, the Sunday burnt roast should not of been £10.95 more like £2.95 due to poor presentation and overcooked food I wouldn't recommend going there for your Sunday dinner it will leave you feeling very hungry and very...

The service was speedy and friendly. It was a shame the restaurant side was so quiet. We have booked in for next week, but this depends on whether pubs and restaurants will be able to open, which will be a damn shame as the Swan has made a...
