Had a great lunch with my mum here today. It was incredibly busy but the staff were extremely friendly and got us seated as soon as a table was free. We arrived at 1.30pm at the height of the dinner rush. Drinks were served really quickly but the food took some time. We weren't in a rush and when asked, staff checked to see how long we had to wait. It seems that if you are in a rush, you can let them know and they would do their best to serve quicker. We didn't really mind the wait - it was definitely worth it. The toasties were great. I had Avocado and Corguette (available as vegan and gluten free too although I had the standard veggie). My mum had Ham, Brie and Cranberry sauce. They were served with salad with balsamic dressing and vegetable crisps. The bread was really fresh as where the other ingredients. Delicious! The coffee was great too. Afterwards we had Double Chocolate Brownie and Jammydodger Blondie and they were fantastic. Not a bad price for a cafe bar. 2 meals, 2 hot drinks and 2 cakes came to about £26. Ill definitely be going back.

The waitress was quick to take order, I asked for my breakfast to be cooked lightly not well done ,we waited along time for it to come which is fine if it's good when it arrives but it wasn't hard egg and bacon I think it was served like that to everyone ,the waiter asked if everything was ok I explained and he said he would do another egg but by that time we were hungry and half way through the meal,it was supposed to be a large breakfast £1150 over priced for what I got,my partner ordered scrambled egg on toast which was cold and eggs over cooked and resembled sawdust ,needless to say we won't return.

Just get inside... what a place, by day a hub, it can be busy and you feel relaxed, yet quiet and feel a part of goings-on. The best place for a business meet-up, pleasure catchup, just to get out or pass by and pop in over a really good coffee, restaurant quality food or a cheeky treat. Sunday Lunch is well worth the visit, ask for the sharing platter. Then by night transforms into a fine quality bar with a great selection of food & drinks, including locally distilled gins etc. They have rooms to utilise for functions too. Staff are professional welcoming, attentive, very well run and managed.

After previous poor meals we were gifted a voucher for Cosalea for Christmas. It was the only reason we decided to give it one last try. A meal for 2 in a restaurant filled with about 10 people maximum, it was hardly busy and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. We ordered two meals, Steak pie and chips and Haloumi and chips. Both simple meals you would think however after over an hour and twenty minute wait we decided that these meals were obviously creating greater difficulty for the chefs than we imagined.

Two other tables were filled by other customers after we came in and placed our order and both were served their food before us. It was at this point I questioned the waitress as to when we may receive our food. Her response "have you ordered yet?"! Not really the response I wanted to hear.

5 minutes later our food arrived. Well that is if it could be described as food. Overcooked dry pie that had obviously been cooked and reheated two or three times over. When it was placed in front of me by the waitress, I stated immediately that it wasn't good enough to which she responded "why?". I picked it up with one hand and stated that "I should not be able to do this, with a freshly cooked slice of steak pie!", I'm not even going to start on the abomination of accompanyments that came with the pie.

Needless to say we left. The service and the food were nothing other than disgusting.

We certainly will not be...

A promising start, food and service was great at first, but for the last few times we've been here service and food have increasingly declined at each visit.

The food was quite dry, at the last visit, we had a sharing platter but left most / didn't enjoy it.

Service is bizarre, the lady in charge always seems to offer random unprompted excuses such as - "sorry service is slow I have the wrong dress on / sorry I couldn't take your order I've been sweeping confetti in the kitchen / apologies for the service I'm really ill today with laryngitis". Annoying as she is clearly aware of the shortfalls and I really don't want to be served by someone who's "really ill". More bizarrely, at what is likely to be our final visit the manager was preoccupied with emptying and routing through her vast handbag on the bar, whilst the many staff slouched around.

Such a shame, it's a good venue, well decorated and in a good location, let down by inexperienced staff who appear to have little guidance...
