Bombay Lounge — Restaurant in Calderdale

I have only given it 1 star because I had to to be able to write a review, 1st of all they only sent half the order so I rang to try to sort it out after another hour of waiting I called back to then be put onto the drive who then told me that it had been sent when it hadn't he's said he was just going to speak to the young man who took my order who was lovely by the way, the driver came back on the phone to tell me there had been a mix up (not with the young man who took my order as the order slip he had written was attached to my bag).so they hadn't even made the other part of the order and had no intensions in sorting it out .The food that was delivered the nan tasted like it had been frozen and defrosted and soggy and the rest was cold. 1st and last time I ever order food from Bombay lounge...

Prices are quite expensive, £7.50 for an average dish and then rice or nan is extra. Portions are small. Drinks are not cheap and you are offered poppadoms which are not complimentary and quite pricey. The quality of the food is pretty good though! I would say if they are going to charge that much they should give bigger portions and throw in rice or nan. Leaves a bad taste when you get the bill and feel you have been ripped off which I have a couple...

absolutely flawless. The Afghani Chicken and the Mughal-E-Azam are incredible. I'm very new to the area so this was just a quick one because we didn't have ingredients to cook. Found this place and ordered simply anything - probably the best south Asian takeaway we've ever had and a complete surprise. So thankful that these folks are basically our local because we'll be ordering a lot more from now...
