Greggs — Restaurant in Calderdale

This is always a busy Gregg's expect to wait at peak times. They used to be on the click and collect which was really useful but that seems to have been removed from the app. I get it helps those going in store but if the click and collect was managed better it would support staff in store to keep queues down. had a very disappointing experience due to the behavior of the staff. I had been waiting in line for about 10 minutes when two other customers arrived and stood in a different lane. Despite clearly being there first, the staff member began taking their orders instead. When I politely pointed out that I was next, she dismissively claimed I wasn't in the queue—despite knowing I had been waiting. There were no signs or directions indicating how the queue should form. The staff are so slow, and it’s like they don’t even care if someone is waiting for them. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re in a rush to get to work. I was stood there for 20 minutes this morning just waiting to be served. Some people in the queue even gave up and left because the wait was so long.

That being said, the food is really nice, which makes it even more frustrating that the service is so poorly managed. They really need to sort out their staffing during peak hours. Management needs...
