Awful experience. Service was slow. Waitress no clue what they were doing.... This was a birthday meal for my niece. The child's meal was a very large portion enough to feed an adult, a plate of dried egg noodles with chicken, with carrots, spring onions. We had a banquet which was £35.00 per person. You got a mixed platter which consisted of a spring roll, pork dumpling, chicken satay, thai fish cake, then a spicy sweet & sour soup. The worst was the main course. A beef curry and a chicken dish which was disgusting and also a fried noodle dish with fried eggs which was dry and tasteless. I thought it was a side dish. Both my Mum and I just ate the rice with a bit of sauce. Overall a overpriced meal for 4 adults and 1 child. We had a couple of beers, couple of ciders and soft drinks. £250.00 was the total bill! We didn' t pay that much for a 5 star rated Japanese in the central of Leeds with cocktails. Also this place is not signed posted any where. I asked 4 different locals who had never heard of the restaurant. The Dean clough is massive. Unlike the mills in Saltaire etc. I drove round Dean clough mills for an hour before finally finding it. The turning to Dean clough road was closed in Halifax city centre which seems to have a never ending road works by the bus station. This restaurant looks good at first but needs some TLC. I had to ask for hand wash in the ladies as there was none. Simply things that can be easily fixed. Toilet holder missing from one of the ladies toilets. Added cheap toilet roll holders. No signage on the front of the toilet doors, my little 82 mum tried to get in the store room. Mis-matched bowls. No serving spoons with main course. List was endless. If the food was cheap then I could understand but this the 2nd worst Thai place I...

Have to say we were extremely disappointed, the fat and skin on the duck was uncooked, the meat in the curry was over cooked and the satay chicken was dry (no sauce at all) and didn't taste of peanut. When I told the waiting staff about these issues we were just told that the chef would be notified. Upon going to pay the bill I requested that the duck was removed as it was inedible, only to be told that problem was down to their suppliers. As it turns out the food wasn't even cooked on site and was just heated up, it's basically just a microwave meal on a nice plate. £100 bill for three people having had two drinks each and they would only agree to give me half price on the duck.

If you want fantastic Asian food please just go to Viet Baguette in town, this...

Almost £40 for a takeaway that went in the bin!

We had a mixed starter which wasn't too bad the chicken satay and sauce was tasteless and chicken very chewy but prawns were OK.

The mains we got are beyond anything I've ever tasted. We got a sirloin steak salad with Lime and coriander dressing and we both nearly vomited it smelt like dog food and the taste was disgusting. I genuinely have no idea what it was but it really was awful we had to throw it all in the bin.

The other dish was chicken with noodles and the chicken was again hard and chewy, no taste at all no herbs, spices or any garlic/ginger just very plain and boring with no flavour at all.

Definitely won't be ordering again. So...

What a gem of a place. I had a meal last night, the service was impeccable and the food was top notch. I had a Pad Thai and it was fresh, vibrant and well presented. Best one I have had in the UK by far. The lady who served me was really helpful, friendly and gave me lots of interesting information on the different foods and places in Thailand. The owner was also in and came over to chat after I had finished my meal. His passion for providing a top experience was obvious and the staff there shared that same buzz. I was booked in at the Travelodge next door so this place was so convenient to have literally next door. I’d highly recommend it as a great place to grab a bite if you’re staying there.

Food is absolutely delicious - I had the Sample Plate to start (chicken satay, fish cake, veg spring roll, tempura prawn, chicken wing, pork dumpling) and the Gang Kua Goong (red curry base with prawns and pineapple) with jasmine rice for my main. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were spot on. The staff were polite. My only gripe was that the service was slow (there seemed to be only 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant on a busy Friday night), and they automatically added a 10% service charge to the bill. Had the service been better, we wouldn’t have minded paying it, but we were there about 3 hours for a starter and a main.

Thai corner Dean clough serve a tasty food with warm and casual service. We really enjoyed a company and l feel like being back home. We ordered a Bangkok banquet including mixed platter, chicken tom-yum soup and 2 main course, plus egg noodle and rice for £25/pp. l think this set is good value if you like sharing food with your party. For a first visit Restaurant situated at rear of Dean Clough Mill and closed to Travelodge A restaurant no big sign just notice an outside sitting area when you arrive with a small print TC if you can see from distance.
