The Yew Tree — Restaurant in Cannock Chase

Last night was Eddie Martin.....great lively night. Everyone was dancing!!! Great atmosphere.

Today 27th August '23 we went to try their newly presented Sunday Lunch. Roast beef, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, cauliflower and broccoli. Plenty of gravy to pour yourself . Presentation 8/10. Beef a little over cooked for me, but we all like different things..... Will go back for another try! Would I recommend it? If you want a nice quick dinner without having to wash up then yes. I'm not sure if they are offering puddings yet, but would have loved a bit of apple pie after that. I feel they are trying to see if there is a call for it. I hope there is because I enjoyed it. See...

Called in on the way home for a pint of larger. It’s definitely a locals pub with a lively atmosphere as the locals talk to each other- it was interesting listening to their banter and I was made to feel welcome.
