Had been reluctant to order from here for a while due to previous bad experiences similar to many of the other reviews on here (long wait times, lack of items on menu, getting order wrong, problems ordering via the app and card payments etc .. ) but I decided to give it another go, this time opting for delivery. I'm pleased to say this time there were no problems at all: the order was correct, the food was tasty (the fries had really nice seasoning on them.. which I don't know if that's the norm as usually KFC leave you to season your own fries.. but they tasted really nice!), and as a bonus the order was delivered really quickly... I'm hoping this is a sign that this KFC overall has improved but it could be just that they still give priority to delivery.... On the whole I'd prefer to collect in store or at the drive thru as this is a much cheaper option and I'd probably order there more often if that was the case, but I didn't want to risk previous bad experiences and so opted for delivery instead... But I'm pleased to say it was nice at least so hoping this is a better New Year...
Read moreCame to KFC which is supposed to be 'fast food'. However, from entering to receiving our food took little over 20mins. The short young girl was very abrupt and rude (obviously young with an attitude problem) towards serving my wife. We sat down to eat our food, only to find out that we were missing some items. I went back up to the counter and waited a further 5mins to get seen. The young girl just looked up at me and stared at me. I took this as a que to talk. I ask for my missing items, and again this young girl spoke with an attitude and a face that looked like she hated working there. I was given my items and went and sat back down with my family. The chicken was cold and the salad warm and flavourless. On top of all this, the disabled/baby changing room was out of order, but was not clearly displayed. We only found this out after my wife waited approx 10mins for a staff member to return with a key, only to be told it was out of action. My son's nappy needed changing and they could not provide us with a room to do this. Receipt code...
Read moreDrive Thru closed, so went in to order and immediately noticed a very stale aroma. No one else waiting in queue, but was ignored by the first member of staff at the tills. Order was subsequently taken in an acceptable fashion by the store manager. As I waited, I begun to notice just how grubby it was in store. Every surface looked like it had been wiped with a greasy unclean cloth, filthy swirl marks were everywhere. All of the staff appeared to be wearing stained clothes, the whole atmosphere was most downbeat. Over ten minutes passed before my food appeared, I really should have cancelled and gone elsewhere.
The food perfectly matched the in store experience being stale, bland and of very dubious quality all round. It is so disappointing to see how standards have slipped from the KFC of old. If this is franchise specific then head office need to step in and address these valid concerns. If this is truly indicative of KFC 2023, then the company deserves to go out...
