Just the most perfect little pub full of love. The sort of place you can dress right up ,or turn up in your wellies with your Labrador and still feel fab. Amazing friendly service and staff and delicious food . Atmosphere is always warm and welcoming , the sort of place a lady could go on her own for a glass of wine and read a book or paper and not feel uncomfortable. Lots of attention to detail and beautiful outside twinkly light area to .. We have traveled from Nottingham on the Rothley line from Loughborough and arrived at this establishment as per our planned itinerary.

The staff here are exceptional and highly professional in their conduct.

The ale is well-poured and delicious, and the bar staff, particularly Rosie and Meg, are delightful and attentive. I highly recommend The Woodman's Stroke.

I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and we will certainly revisit in the future.

Love it here my most fave place to eat and drink in Rothly Leicestershire. ...The food is fantastic! ! The woodmans stroke is stunning..relaxing...and very very well presented and luxurious toilets...and outside seating area on the patio underneath heated lamps...or in the summer having lunch outside on the benches near the stream...Lovely views great friendly service a nice relaxing place to chill out...My most favourite place to...
