TJ Mangal — Restaurant in Charnwood

Always good food from here. Good value too. However we ordered a while ago left a private message on tjs Facebook page, as I didn't want to leave a bad review as they're normally very friendly and serve nice food. I left the private message because the order was late and we had sat there for ages, I'd ordered a lamb kebab but got donor kebab, I'd seen them cooking a kebab on the grill so naturally thought it was for me. The salad items we picked were wrong too we didn't notice until we home , posted a truthful message as we normally get nice food and never wrong, I was really looking forward to that lamb. They had loads of uber drivers in and maybe our order got mixed up. Last night we decided to order again, being regular customers for years myself and my partner equally, we thought maybe it's just a hiccup, we put our order in then they asked if I wanted chips I said no just then asked again do I want c, again I replied no just the burger, they started to prepare and the owner said no forget it, your review you left is damaging to my restaurant and it's is not good. He then went onto say My partner is a good man but we don't like your review,, I actually never left a bad review just a private message on their Facebook page, how can this be seen by others we went home starving because of pigheadedness. Look guys if you can't take criticising from valuable customers then you need to rethink. Deeply upset after a 12 hour nursing shift we both expect better customer attitude, not to be dissed about constructive criticism. We normally have no concerns. Sorry you feel this way but I repeat I've never left you a bad review. Sorry you feel that way about valued customers. My partner is deeply saddened...

I have tried to order from here through just eat twice now. I live within their delivery radius otherwise they would not appear on the app. I have ordered from here once in the past but for some reason, the last twice I have ordered from them they have rejected the order saying a driver would not be able to make it in time. I thought that yesterday it was because I had ordered at midnight, even though they close at 1am. So I tried again today after getting back from work at 11pm and they have rejected it for the same reason. Why exactly is a driver unable to make it 2 hours before closing? I won't be attempting to order from here again.

Upon reading some of the other reviews I have noticed that the management keep stating peoples full names and full addresses in their reviews. Absolutely disgusting and very illegal behaviour. Major breach of the data...

1 star isn’t even deserved me and my two friends ordered this last night and since eating the food from here I have been severely ill throwing up none stop my other friend is also vomiting and my other friend is now unwell to!! avoid this takeaway at all costs unles you fancy being really ill disgusting

Let me also add no one is from any fake accounts when you get bad reviews you want to say there fake reviews I’ve got my receipt for my order and I’ve also reported you to the food standard agency along with the council and also on just eat we’re I placed my order maybe sort out your food and hygiene standards and then try come back with a comment like that!
