Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Chelmsford

Absolutely terrible service. Very unfriendly staff which is not the norm in Costa. Thomas (tall dark haired young guy) needs to learn how to make a proper flat white.it was by far the worst coffee I have ever had in Costa, and we never go any where else wherever we go. Did comment to the lady clearing tables(the assistant manager with dark long hair) and her response was " well if I made you another one it would taste the same " her attitude stunk to be honest....so we didn't bother to get it re made and we didn't even drink it due to being so nasty. Seriously won't be coming back here EVER and this is a local one for us. This Costa gives every other a bad name and had we visited here first I don't think we would have gone to a Costa again....it tasted worse than a cheap McDonald's coffee. Annabel... who we spoke to after was a lovely lady very polite and helpful just a shame the rest of the staff weren't the same.the one star rating was for Annabel otherwise it would...

I like this costa. Never had a trouble finding it seat and theres also outside seating but kind of on a roundabout near the retail park entrance. Its a big costa and they do a big range of food, and yummy things like chocolate brownie cheesecake.

Generous with the butter and marmite on my toast (I recommend costa toast, they dont advertise it well but its cheap).

I took my mother for an early morning coffee and sweet treat. After a previous disappointing trip to a different Costa location, we thought to give this location a go as it was convenient with our shopping.
