I attended the cafe this morning as one of the reviews recommended the scones. I travelled to the cafe to get 3 scones to take out. 3 current scones, no butter no jam and no cream. This seemed to cause a bit of consternation and I was asked to confirm my order on at least 3 occasions as I waited. When they were brought out to me they were in a tinfoil carton with a cardboard lid. The type that used to be used by Chinese and Indian takeaways. Whe I got back to the caravan and opened the carton I was horrified!!! 2 of the scones were tiny and one was burned! Sadly very unimpressed by both the service and the scones. We did try to eat the scones but they were stale and had obviously been warmed up to rejuvenate them. So Angry!!!

We had afternoon tea which was delicious. Staff went out of their way to make this a really welcoming place. Tea was delicious and they made gluten free for one of us. Thank you so very much

Sunday roast was lovely with Peach and Apple crumble with cream for dessert. Perfect.

Lincoln provided valuable assistance & guidance prior to & during the wake of my mother Brenda Small on 30 Jan 2024. The service, food & general attention 2 detail was second to none. My only problem was not being to tech savy & not using Facebook, was giving the review earlier than I did. Team Banbury Tea rooms, well done & keep up the excellent work. A sincere thank you....

Made a shopping trip to Banbury and wanted to finish with a cream tea. This ended up being the highlight of the day. A choice of sultana or plain scone which were large and a lovely pot of tea. Staff were really warm and friendly. Well worth the 5min drive out of the town centre to relax. Free parking on site or as we did...
