Extremely disappointed with Daisy tonight. We are regular customers who order from here all the time via Uber Eats or Just Eat but we won’t be ordering from here anymore. We ordered 15 mins after they opened so 17.15 - we didn’t get our meal till 19.15. I phoned up at 18.31 and was told there’s was some sort of issue with the fact I’ve ordered via Uber eats something about a delay in them getting the order through from Uber, I’m sorry but that’s not my problem, 2 hours for a takeaway is a joke! I was told it would be another 20 mins or so, so it was due by 18.50.. NO ... didn’t arrive till 19.12 I only live 15 mins tops from the takeaway so clearly they hadn’t even started making it when I rang up! If I’d of known it would be 2 hours I’d of gone elsewhere. I’m also pregnant & was left waiting for that amount of time with no idea when my food was really going to come, I couldn’t snack on anything as potentially it would spoil my tea when it did eventually arrive. If they were running that late a courtesy call would of been nice then I could of eaten something to put me on! What’s worse is this isn’t the first time, a similar thing happened last time we ordered but we let it slide on the basis they were obviously busy during covid but there’s only so many times you’ll be let down as a customer before you go elsewhere. Once we received the order we were again disappointed we had waited 2 hours for the worst takeaway we’ve had, the popodons were soft in the middle so we could only eat the edges of them, we ordered a mixed kebab starter and the onion bhajis that came in it were burnt, they gave us ‘free’ onion bhajis again that were burnt, the curry’s and rice were extremely greasy, so I would say 50% of the takeaway we ordered and had waiting a full 2 hours for went in the bin!! I was left waiting for almost 3 hours for my food to arrive. I called the establishment twice and was just given a very abrupt apologie and was reassurd that my food would arrive soon.
When my food arrived, it was below average in quality and slightly bland. The only positive thing I can say is that it was piping hot.
