Domino's Pizza - Buckshaw Village — Restaurant in Chorley

There was no intention of having pizza at lunchtime, I just thought I’d pass by to grab a side (wedges or something along those lines) .. Anyway, as I walked in i realised there was a lot of staff but all smiling away and happy. They said it was a training day. Yusuf (the store manager) I believe, served me and asked me if I wanted to be the first one to try the Paneer pizza 🍕 Of course I was tempted , as for me having a halal diet, it was either that or a magherita. Lol. From behind him, the rest of the team were nodding with excitement convincing me to try it and so … I said yes !! I have to say I was NOT disappointed 😍👌🏽 Brilliant pizza! Loved it. Even kept half to take home to share with my family so they could try it. I sat indoors, the place was super clean, and the staff also sat down to try theirs. I loved seeing Sophie mingling in with all the guys. I loved how they were all genuinely having good banter together. It was so refreshing to see. I usually see the staff behind counters, bored or uninterested but you could genuinely see how much they loved being there. Good company always means a good day! There were so many staff there, turns out they were having training.

This team of people are a credit to Dominoes!! Honestly, the brilliant atmosphere meant I was convinced to visit again soon. Thank you guys!! We all had a bit of banter between us, they left me to eat in peace, but still gave me a wave 👋🏽 as they left after their training. Which was really nice 😊 Excellent customer service - excellent Paneer Pizza. I’ve attached a photo of the lovely staff thatI had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you Yusuf, Sophie & the great team that I didn’t quite catch the names of. Keep smiling, stay happy!! 💫

PS. Domino’s can you please include a halal menu. Trust me, you’ll gain...

Such a disappointing and devaluing experience....

I live local and ordered by phone and went to collect when the order was declared "ready". I arrived to collect and stood at the counter; there were 2-3 staff working in the kitchen/back-bar area and all basically acted as if wasn't there (one was sorting deliveries I think).

Someone eventually shouted over "be with you in a couple of mins" (or words to that effect - was hard to distinguish right from the back of the kitchen). My order was showing "ready" - when someone eventually came over I said I was here to collect my order for XXXX and they said "be a few minutes" (the order screen was showing "ready" - this got quickly deleted by a member of staff).

I waited several more minutes and observed two more customers come in who got similarly ignored so at least it wasn't just me.

Meanwhile the food being prepared back home was ruined/overcooked as the order took at least 35 minutes from point of order where the phone app states get ready for "pizza heaven" to collection (supposedly 9-14mins).

In future we will support smaller local businesses where you can get better quality food, for less, and served by someone who will treat you as a fellow...

Ordered 2 large pizzas and doughballs for delivery. The app advised the driver was 2 mins away and I could see on the map he was a few streets over. Then he disappeared off in the wrong direction. Waited for about 10 mins, knock at the door came, it was a lady 3 streets over who advised the driver had literally dropped the food and disappeared. She had looked at the address on the box and brought it to us. When I called to complain I tried to explain the situation to 3 different people who could not understand what I was saying. They could not provide any explanation and just kept repeating my address to me and saying it had been delivered. Eventually someone came on the phone and asked me to explain for the 4th time. He said the delivery driver said he had delivered it. At this point I had just had enough, and asked if they thought I was lying. There was no customer service and no communication skills...
