First time been here 13th March 2023, which I didn't know it had new management and new menu. The menu only had selection of alcoholic drinks on one side and on the other side was the food menu. I didn't understand how the menu works at 1st so the lady explained. We ordered drinks and it took ages to be served to our table. They even got the order wrong. There were 4 of us and we ordered 3 for £12.95 from the menu we were given. We ordered 4 calamari dishes. 4 lemon and garlic chicken dishes, 2 pulled pork dishes and 2 spicy chicken dishes. After ordering around 15 minutes later a table of 2 people sat nearby. They ordered their drinks and food. They got their food before us as we waited almost an hour for the food to come out. I did mention this to the lady who took us to the table and I said I waited too long for our food and they got their food before us. She explained that they only ordered 3 dishes to share between them. Then she said that the printer wasn't working at the time when we ordered so the kitchen hadn't got our order. But if the kitchen haven't got our order, how come the food came out after I enquired about my order within 5 minutes? While waiting for our food, I noticed few of the waitresses were near the kitchen doors talking and one was playing with her hair. They wasn't even focusing on customers. The food wasn't that great, however the following dishes I ordered, calamari was nice. The lemon and garlic chicken was very salty and the spicy chicken was also salty. The service was terrible and slow. They did knock off some money from the food bill. This was a Monday evening 6pm. Can you imagine if this was a weekend? They would definitely struggle to keep up and keep customers happy.. I was brought up in and around catering business, I have level 3 in hospitality and catering and also a foodie, I do know how food and customer service are very important to having a catering business... My ratings for Tutto Halfway House Food 1/10 Service 0/10 Value for money 1/10 Deco 8/10

Looked forward to a meal here. Nice big car park pub/restaurant is very nice as were the staff...that was the highlight. Went to the bar to order as wanted to eat in the bar but was told if ordered a main and starter it would come at the same time !!! I asked if they could bring out after my starter but was told only could be done if in the restaurant...bonkers. had a drink and asked to sit in restaurant asked to pay for everything but could only take for drink....again crazy. Sat in restaurant and waited quite a while in a quarter full restaurant. The mushroom starter all right...so looked forward to my lamb hot pot. Well 20mins later after clearing my starter the hot pot came. I have to check the menu again as it had a pastry top not sliced potatoes as a hot pot should be...this was a lamb pie...my fault should have read menu better. Came with red cabbage and sprouting broccoli....cabbage in a separate bowl and was cold, stone cold and was supposed to be like that, who serves cold red cabbage and hot broccoli. Well the main event. Dry pastry, the filling was so hot any liquid had evaporated and no flavour. You could not eat the pastry as it was like cardboard without any gravy/sauce a hot pot should have. I was basically very dissatisfied so left my food paid and left. On this visit I would never return.

I'm absolutely not normally one to leave negative reviews for pubs / restaurants as they have a tough enough time as it is, but I'm really left somewhat disheartened by today's experience. Service was slow and inattentive, which given it's the week before Christmas, and despite only having a small handful of tables to serve was very disappointing. We paid £14+ for the steak and ale pie with chips (Weirdly no option for mash?) that turned out to be a slice of pie that looked like it had been sat under the lamps all afternoon. Had it not been for the supplementary gravy boat to moisten the filling I'd otherwise have sent it back to the kitchen. I'm really struggling to understand how both the kitchen and service have got things so wrong today; perhaps it was just a bad day at the office? The building is clean and well kept (a few more Xmas decorations wouldn't go amiss) so it clearly has massive potential, but unfortunately today's experience fell well short of the Sunday dinner we were hoping for. 😔 I won't say that I'll never go back as I understand that places have off days, but at the same time it's also unlikely we'll be back anytime soon with so many other pubs to try in the area.

I found this absolute gem of a hospitality establishment whilst travelling for work. The moment I walked through the front door I was certain I was going to have a wonderful experience. The interior design was both modern, stylish and elegant with a juxtaposition of nodding to the historic character of the building. It was a busy night and there was a buzz about the environment although it has enough space available to just settle in and soak up the ambience. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive and I couldn't have felt more welcome. Now onto the food...... such a delight... I don't know if I have the words to express how deliscious and well executed my meal was. I had the spicy chicken pizza. I regularly travel to Rome, Naples and Turin and I have not found such an authentic home cooked pizza parlour in the UK so I was completely mesmerised and bewildered by the standard of pizza I enjoyed here. The base was thin and perfectly cooked, the tomato pasata was fresh and herb infused whilst it had genuine mozzarella cheese. This was all combined with moist, spicy chicken, caramelised red onion, well done bell peppers and chilli flakes. It was both on point and extremely well executed. I ate this with a pint of "Craft Lager" which is a continental style lager beer. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall it was incredible value for money and I was delighted by the customer service. If I'm ever back in the area I'm sure to return. I'd advise booking as it was very busy during a...

Hate leaving negative reviews but I have to unfortunately on the occasion. Being local to us we were excited when the restaurant and pub reopened. Sadly, the experiences recently aren’t as new!

Last Sunday we booked for Sunday lunch and had friends back from Spain so thought it would be nice to go. Unfortunately, the drinks came and were wrong, that was the start.

Food ordered, and as we were waiting, two other tables were seated, one with around 6-7 people and another with 4.

We ordered 3 Sunday roasts, fish and chips, and a chicken burger, nothing out of the ordinary.

We waited, and waited and waited! The larger table seated after us, got their food, strange I thought, then I heard the waiter tell the table the rest of their food would be about an hour! Another table heard this, asked if that was correct to which the waiter confirmed, so they upped and left. 20 mins later, and by which time we’d already been waiting an hour or so, the other table with 4 again seated after us was served their roast dinners! At this point we asked where our food was and were told it was on the way. After a quick chat with the manager we were assured it would be 5 mins. 20 mins later and still nothing. So we got up to leave. Gets to the door and we were then told oh it’s ready!!

Too late I’m afraid. Waited 1 hr 40 mins.

Shocking, service, staff were unattentive and not at all on the ball. Gutted really as it’s very local, but not sure I’ll...
