Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Chorley

Sunday 25th February. Lunch with my wife. Sorry to see bacon and egg roll no longer on menu. Mentioned to person on till who said still available as so many people had complained. Not much help if I hadn’t asked. Ordered two bacon and egg rolls, a tea and a latte. Person on till not listening and missed off the latte so I had to go back. 20 minute wait for food by which time our drinks were cold so I went back for more. In the meantime the food arrived. Visited on a Friday at 2pm there were limited cakes available, service was slow and the lattes were even slower. I understand bean to cup coffee can take a while but this was SLOW, the server was somewhat sloppy too. I kinda like the idea of someone making coffee in front of you as you can see what is going on and what they are doing but the member of staff was a bit "slapdash" and was sprinkling cocoa powder everywhere. Ordered food. Waited around 20 minutes, with toddler son, who was getting distracted. Went to the till to see what what was going on. Good job I did- the food order hadn't been put through, so they said you'll have to have a refund. Great experience.
