The Cottage Loaf — Restaurant in Chorley

The quality of food is quite good but unfortunately they need to up the food hygiene! Twice I have been and ordered food only to be disappointed with the hygiene, I won't be going back now what a shame!

You can't lick your fingers to seperate paper bags then prepare a sandwich. You also can't be cleaning with disinfectant spray and a (non disposable cloth in your hands) then go straight to pick up food withiut washing your hands. I buy the pies made by this bakery from Haydock Farm in Coppull.. and then share with my parents in Bolton at the weekend for dessert when we have dinner together. Lovely little bakery however the meat and potato pies are so bland mostly potato and very little meat at all also no seasoning. Very disappointed!
