Two Birds Tea Room — Restaurant in Chorley

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of taking my friend to the Two Birds Tea Room at Heskin Hall Retail Outlet Chorley for her birthday. We both enjoyed an exceptional afternoon tea. Our selection of succulent sandwiches with a separate salad, were beautifully fresh. The mouth watering selection of home-made cakes, chocolate flap jacks, and scones, freshly made that morning, and served with jam and cream, were simply to die for! As if we hadn't already been spoiled with our fayre, we were also treated to pork pies and cups of tasty spicy vegetable soup, along with plentiful cups of tea. The staff were so attentive and kind, and nothing was too much trouble for them. When I made our reservation over the phone I was asked about dietary requirements, and this was considerately verified again by staff on the day. Our celebratory afternoon tea was perfect, and our thanks go out to Joanne, who was so lovely, and paid great attention to detail to ensure that we enjoyed our experience, and also to Alberto the manager, who was so attentive and regularly came over to our table to check that everything was to our satisfaction. On two occasions we have been presented with a man who identifies as manager and what Inadequate service he brings. We often visit with our family to share the local shops and finish with a cup of tea. Today we visited takeaway cakes in hand to save for later and approached the rude manager with attitude and silly remarks pointing to boards as if we are incapable humans.

I feel disheartened that our experience was cut short with his rude attitude making us never want to return.

Great tearoom , situated within 50 retail and craft shops at the Centre. Plenty of great retail shops with a difference they are all independents , and the same with the Two Birds Tea Rooms . One thing you will notice is the terrific range of hand made cakes on display at the counter, they were super , and the helpfull lady at the counter said that they alter daily.

I would highly recommend a visit here , if not just for the tea rooms & visit the centre.
