BuonGusto — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

This is a great example of a no-nonsense and authentic Italian eaterie! I collected two pasta dishes and two arancini for dinner tonight, to heat and enjoy at home. Each of the dishes were absolutely delicious, so unique, fresh & flavourful. The arancinni were made with bolognese and the quantity of meat was very generous, and really high in quality too. Portions were generous in size and very reasonably priced. The service was also excellent when I visited the café, with charming & kind staff who were eager to help and make recommendations. I will return again to try more items from the menu, either by taking dishes to heat at home again or enjoying my meal in the café itself. Easily a five star...

Casually looked for brunch and this was the first time that was recommended around the area. The minute we stepped in, the owner was very attentive and great service throughout, the food was amazing! The lentil soup was lovely and pasta was beautiful! Unfortunately didn’t have photos of the pastas as we just dug into our food, we were too hungry. My friend is picky with her food but she definitely loved her food as well, she had the lasagna and she commented how soft and tasty it was. Fantastic home cooked Italian food!! Has perfect down stairs spot for people with kids - loads a toys and space, sofas and table! (Can be chilly downstairs but we come prepared, its worth it) We come here all the time, lovely homemade Italian dishes all as a good as each other - just order whatever’s on! Highly recommend a double helping of Arancini with an Aperol Sprits followed by cappuccino and Cannolo for afters for one...
