Domino's Pizza - Edinburgh - Gilmerton — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Ordered 2 Pizza's and 3 sides, turned up to collect 10 minutes later, it said on their screen our order was 10 minutes till ready. Our name then disappears off the screen, wait a little and then ask the staff, I'm told it will still be coming. Wait some more and I ask the staff, I'm told we're next in line and it will be ready any minute (clearly a fob story), I then go up again and am told with a nice smiley face that our pizza's have been burnt and the crust has stuck to the oven so they're going to redo the order (this was their cover up for the fact that the pizza's hadn't even started being made yet). After that I am told that the manager has offered a bottle of coke as compensation, pretty cheeky when you've waited an hour on 'fast food'. Terrible customer service, terrible management, and the nacho's where some of the most rank things my eyes have ever had bestowed upon them. Won't be going here ever again.

I used to get deliveries, but they took so long and we're usually too cold, so I started doing pick ups. Problem is you stand there waiting for someone to actually come to the desk, and you usually have to shout for someone to come over. I saw 5 different guys open up the same boxes sitting on shelves waiting for delivery, until eventually someone put them in a bag to take away the last time I was in. The same boxes were there for easily 10+ minutes, so they had to be cold by the time they left. I was there bang on time for collection, the app said ready, they weren't even in the oven. Lots of staff all stumbling over each other. I Will be going to other places, I understand now and then but constant issues are no good, I just used the app for ease because it's a brand, but...

Last time we try to use this store. Tracker said food had been delivered, but it hadn't. When we contacted the store they told us 'the tracker is rubbish' and that our food was out for delivery. It took over twice the predicted time for it to arrive and by then it was cold. The driver took it back to get us another order - the store advised it would take at least as long again because they were busy. We cancelled the order - it is a crowded pizza market and with customer service like this, we will get our pizza from elsewhere ( and we did, thanks Pizza Hut). It is also really unprofessional for staff members to be telling customers that domino's services...
