I am vegan, and the first time I went here with my friend we asked what was ok for me, but the second time we went we asked again what was ok, and they told me at least 2 things we ordered last time had egg/dairy in it. They also kept saying "just a little bit of egg, just a little bit of milk, it's ok", like that made an ounce of difference and wasn't a big deal at all. It's a big deal to me, and I find it deeply concerning this dismissive attitude towards different beliefs and dietary needs. I am so shocked and disgusted at their attitude.

I first discovered the Shahi in 1993 and this shop fed me tasty nosh for nearly 25 years. Last year, I noticed little change in quality but tonight, what I got was a major disappointment. Whilst the King Prawns were perfectly cooked, the sauce of both the Malayan and the Jalfrezie were watery and tasteless. Indeed, the only hint of taste that came from either was the one sliced chilli in the Jalfrezie. It was such a disappointment: no taste, old chillies, old coriander.

What do I reckon? Young guys in the kitchen who don't understand the way Scots like their curries and just rattle watery much out with huge chunks of veg as padding. No point in calling the premisis to make a complaint; what would be gained?
Not saying to avoid but be wary. And, management - lift your game!
EDIT: just come out from 15 mins in the lavvy. Not good. Not...
