Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Crawley

After much consideration i have decided to share my experience with this company.

To start off with, ordering the food was spiffing, but after then the experience changed for the worst. Confirming the order had gone through was as just as reassuring as trusting a penguin to drive a car!! All i saw was a blank screen.

Giving some time (1 hour) i decided to call the company to ask the whereabouts of my food. The whereabouts of the phone number was just as lost as my food seeing as it took a further 30 minutes to find a phone number to the place! Anyways once i had gotten through to the place, to my surprise the order hadnt been noticed by the staff within the vicinity of italian pizza and so hadnt been prepared, WITHIN AN HOUR AND A HALF. I was then passed to who seemed to be in charge and fair enough sending a free ice cream is thoughtful but my food is still failing to be consumed and at this point i have work in 40 minutes.

A further 30 minutes passed and the food arrived hot and smelled good, the delivery guy passed me the food and said sorry for any inconvenience but as i went to close the door my soul was stared at by him as if he wanted something from me. He spent a further 2 minutes waiting for me to return even though it was a pre paid order.

I now have 5 minutes before i leave for work and i try to tuck in and take my first slice, the amount of cheese and toppings was overwhelming and must of just been piled on in a rush as it all fell off as i picked up the slice. The cheese made me feel ill and in the end i felt so greasy and not satisfied.

I would not advise others to go through this company but maybe through reading this,...

My pizza was due for delivery at 20:25. By 21:00 it still had not arrived despite three calls to the restaurant who told me they would call me back and didn't. The delivery boy called me at 20:45 saying he could not find my house even though I gave him clear directions. At 21:10 he called after I called the restaurant again, saying he still couldn't find it. I very much doubt that he spent 25 mins running up my street looking for my house that all other take away restaurants find no problem. In the end the manager got on the phone when i called again as i was getting rightfully very angry now as I ordered 1 hour and 30 mins ago. He told me that it was on it's way. I told him it was likely to be cold. He just said if it is cold then we will send another one or he could just cancel the order. His attitude to the problem was appalling. Restaurant unhelpful and rude, delivery boy obviously cannot work a sat nav. In the end I had to get eat-take away involved and deal with it, who refunded my money. In the end the pizza did turn up... it was cold and inedible and the restaurant said they are not coming back. These people do not know customer service from their bum hole. Been coming here to pick up my pizzas for over 10 years now. First discovered it one evening when I was having my car repaired around the corner at a friend of mines unit. He recommended this place and for a period of time me and the boys would drive all the way down from Croydon every other week for it. Now that I live locally I don't order pizza from anywhere else. The dough and base is soft ,fresh and sweet and even when theirs leftovers for the next day the texture is still consistent when reheated. The cheese is cheesy especially when you ask for extra cheese. It's stringy just like the TV adverts back when pizzas takeaways were advertised on TV. Portions of chips chicken are a good size. Their cheesy garlic bread is borderline addictive and I love that they sell cans of rios rather than the usual coke Pepsi tango etc. Can't fault the food and they're a good...
