Cinnamon Lounge — Restaurant in Dacorum

Have been here a few times and never had a great experience. First time I booked more than a week in advance for a group of 6 and when we arrived they didn't have our booking and we had to leave and ended up at Oscars Pizza across the road. Not really apologetic. Second time my wife (who is veggie and clearly explained that she was veggie to the waiter) ordered a vegetable biryani, and when arrived (after a loooong wait) it was a chicken biryani; and the waiter insisted that this was what she had ordered. So I had to eat my food alone while we waited for the correct dish for my wife, which took another eternity, so I was finished by the time her dish arrived. Not great. Well what can I Say other than 🙏 please please DO NOT!! waste your time going to this place.. the Tiger Prawn starter; I have seen bigger prawns in a prawn cocktail. No flavour at all. The Chicken Tikka tasted like frozen chicken tikka slices you would buy from Tesco. The Chicken Korma was very watery, The table behind were complaining because the starter came out with the main and table next to us, had to ask to numerous times if they could take their order. So of the x3 tables upstairs no one seemed to be happy with the service / quality of food! … Also no alcoholic drinks are served it’s bring your own drinks which is fine but we wasn’t aware till...

Been here a few times as our friends like it. However I personally don't think it's very good. My Tika massala was quite a small portion and tasted quite bland. Onion Bhajis we're clearly microwaved and served on luke warm bowl so they got cold quite quickly. The carpet is disgustingly dirty and quite worn in places. Toilets were very poor. Lino peeling off in various places and the floor was sticky too. Service was hit and miss. Asked us if we were ready to order and we said yes and the waiter then wandered off for five minutes. Choices are limited in Kings Langley, so I think they do well because of that l, but Sitar in Boxmor and K2 in Hemel are...
