Maylands Cafe — Restaurant in Dacorum

it was wet and soggy outside and i’ve just ordered from another cafe nearby that had full tables so i couldn’t eat in there. it was the exact same thing as you’d get at this cafe cause ive eaten their jacket potato too (same white box and plastic bag). i went into this cafe to eat my lunch because i didn’t have anywhere to eat it. it was either that or i sit on a wet, cold rainy table outside. and a worker just rudely tells me to leave so i said my apologies and explained i have nowhere to sit and eat my lunch and he just tells me to leave. i wasn’t bothering anyone. i understand i didn’t order from this cafe but the food i got from the other cafe literally next door to it is the exact same and i had nowhere to...

For the last year I have been working in Hemel Hempstead and was recommended this cafe from a contractor working nearby. Firstly the place is SPOTLESS. The prices are very good and the food is simply outstanding. The service is rapid and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The toilet was clean and well looked after and had plenty of hand cleaning & towels available. It does get busy dependant upon time of day but we are always early arriving at 8am and there is no wait times. What more would you want? I've eaten here a number of times and have always received excellent service. Usually have a 'create your own' breakfast . Food is well cooked and arrives quickly - even when the place is pretty full. The fried bread is top notch - other places seem to make it too soggy. Only once had a mistake with my order, which was immediately rectified. Coffee from the machine is a good standard. Prices pretty standard for food of this nature ( Can't understand gripes about the prices - which are clearly displaved - as business costs have risen across the board ) Fairly easy to park nearby....
