The Burger Box - Hemel — Restaurant in Dacorum

I’ve never had an issue with the burger box before, I have only ordered from the Hemel one a couple of times as I used to live in amersham so I ordered from the Chesham one (never once had an issue with them) I am quite disappointed to be writing this review and not be giving 5 stars as I love the burger box, I think it’s delicious food for a decent price and it always arrives on time and hot. I ordered from here last night and specified on the phone I would like no cheese as I’m lactose intolerant, that I’d like the fillet mayo wrap meal with chips and a Diet Coke. The food arrived before it was scheduled to, and the driver was friendly, however the wrap had cheese in it and sweet chilli sauce & Mayo. I never asked for sweet chilli sauce and it kind of ruined the wrap for me as it was overpowering and I only wanted Mayo. Also I received a rio can instead of a Diet Coke…. Luckily enough I’m not allergic to cheese 😅 The box even said no cheese!!! Not to mention the gentleman on the phone was barely listening to me and seemed distracted by whatever was going on in the shop… food was good but not what...

Tried to make an order over the phone tonight on a Tuesday, the communication was terrible they couldn't understand a thing of what was being said, tried to order 2 chicken wraps with bbq and mayo sauce and 1 more chicken wrap with just mayo and lettuce, they charged us for 4 wraps even tho we only ordered 3, we also got a gorgonzilla burger witch had no blue cheese nk onions no mayo sauce witch is all the the description... I had to repeat the order 3 or 4 times to try and make sure they had the order correct then I had to repeat my card details 2 times witch they said it didnt go through and then the card machine was broken so had to go down to the shop and pay in cash only to find out out they took the card payments when they told us it didnt go through.. so if we didnt actually notice we would of paid almost £90 for a meal that should of only cost £27 only for everything's to be wrong and stone cold it was barley warm.. this place has gone so down hill since it first opened just glad we got the refund of the card payments we were told didnt get accepted. ...

Food arrived stone cold. The chips were soggy and the milkshake had melted. Called Burger Box straight away. The man on the phone didn’t appear to be bothered in the slightest when I tried to complain. He was laughing and said he would write my name down “somewhere” and give me a discount next time I ordered - really?! I was not offered a replacement meal, nor a refund. Their customer service is diabolical. Both members of staff I spoke to were rude and arrogant. One of them said he would “sort me out” and asked for my address!! I asked if he was threatening me to which he replied “I’ll sort you out….with a discount”. It felt as though he was trying to threaten me!! AVOID,...
